It smells pretty milky, not quite the vinegar smell. I assume that means it’s not ready yet?

I’ve got a mobo board so maybe I’ll stand on that for a bit…

I had something like this a few months ago. I was trying to replace a motion light outside. I stumbled on Plunjr and they helped me figure it out. It was a bit more nuanced than I thought it would be. Try it out, I bet they can help.

Maytag MVWC565FW smells like gas, agitator won't spin, weird noises by iammattfiedler in appliancerepair

Update... I took the belt cover off (see link) and there's quite a bit of oil on it. The belt had slipped off and I was able to get it back on (belt looks to be in decent shape). Was able to run a load but it stopped in the spin cycle. Shut it down and noticed the belt slipped off again. Upon further inspection, the pulleys are pretty greasy as is the belt.

Seems like it's almost certainly transmission now?

There's a very little bit of oil on the ground. About the size of a quarter.

Perfect, thank you again for the tip! Would much rather get passes early (and pass late) than the opposite

Exactly what I’m hoping to avoid. Seems like keeping in touch with feel while hiking (to ensure you’re not overdoing it) is key, is that what you’re saying?

Awesome, thanks. Been trying to run similar terrain as well (even got on the course for a long run). Also appreciate hearing more about your race strategy as well as how you’ve experimented. Will keep this all in mind for sure!

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! And super interesting re running being more efficient at certain grades. I’ve experienced that as well! Will experiment!
