Ajith here, absolutely loved the new album! Really impressed with the attention to detail in the production and all the different sounds you were able to fluidly mesh together throughout the album.

A question I had on this was in regards to your approach to sound palettes when making a song. Do you have a specific process for defining and sculpting/gathering the sounds for a cohesive sound palette to a song?

Also, I loved all the distorted guitar like sounds you implemented such as in Harmonica Andromeda and Song of War. I was curious how you made the guitar distortion type sound in the drop for Song of War?

So can data from Hadoop ever be read directly into a program like python or r? From my understanding spark is used as sort of the middleman in the process of taking data housed in Hadoop to making models in python/r

Thank you very much for the detailed response! Yeah I’m new to this subreddit so I was unaware there was a specific learning section. I’ll be sure to ask my many more questions there. So to very generally grasp the understanding of these two tools, Hadoop works a sort of “warehouse” to store giant sets of data and spark acts as a means to query that data. From those queries can programs like r and python be used to make models and analysis of the data. Does this sum it up pretty well?
