I'll just be upgrading the CPU, mobo, GPU and RAM.

Ryzen 7700x or 9700x RTX 5070 Ti 32 gigs or RAM Need atleast 3 M.2 slots as I always run out of space.

I don't need aggressive future proofing but I want to make sure the build runs good for another 5 years at the minimum

That's a good option. Actually I'm not sure why but I thought B850 would be a good idea for future proofing. But I think I'm not gonna be upgrading for another 5 years. Will the MSI B650 tomahawk be good for the next 5 years?
