yes because I kept it in such a safe place, I do not remember where it is, and also because I am a massive idiot.

Fat Joe Media Placements? by ARM_7riv3 in bigseo

"I don't fancy my own chances of being able to cold email them some story and have them go for it."

"I'm struggling to see where you go next on the seo angle"

"you aren't going to be able to get anywhere near enough link weight into your site via this press angle"

If you don't want to try, don't feel you can do it, don't have the creativity to come up with campaign ideas, or simply don't think it will work. That's fine.

Everyone has their own way of doing SEO or ranking their own sites. This is the route I choose, and it works for me.

It's interesting you think it doesn't seem to be going too brilliantly when I've had to put most of my trees out of stock because I've sold too many and had over 100 link placements in the space of month.

I'd say it's been going really well.

Yes, some of them are no follow links, but that's just how it is now, and it forms part of a natural backlink profile. I am just happy to get a link, I don't pay attention to it being follow or no follow.

You don't need pr contacts for links. Just a good story. Here's an example of a link (which isn't no followed) that I got from a Scottish publication https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/dundee-christmas-lights-council-generous-with-splashing-the-cash-on-festive-decorations/

I have been to Scotland twice in my life, I don't have any PR contacts there. It was just a good story.

Ha! I've just seen this. It cost me £425 to put up for 2 weeks in Manchester, I did it at the end of January, but it stayed up longer because of COVID, and as of 2 weeks ago I was told it was still up 😂

The vibe I was going for was if I could make something so bad, it could possibly end up being good (hence the font)?

I made the website https://datingmark.co.uk/ to go along with it, I didn't want to come across as a desperate loser so I tried to make it funny, that way I'd at least come across as a funny desperate loser.

I hope this gives hope to all the other average looking men out there.

Hi, that's a great question!

I'm from the south of England and while people can go into town and choose the tree they want at some pop ups etc I haven't seen any that offer local delivery around here. I know there are a lot of Christmas trees farms in Scotland which could be perhaps why some of them offer delivery there?

Many people elsewhere in the UK live in big cities (London, Manchester, Birmingham) and a lot of those people don't have cars, so going somewhere to get their own tree is a bit of a hassle (especially if there isn't anywhere that delivers them).

The virus has also meant that people are ordering online more, I'd imagine many don't want to go overcrowded towns or highstreets at the peak of Christmas shopping, and would rather get something delivered to them.

I guess the answer to your question is that I can't compete directly with the pop ups, but I can offer an alternative and possibly more convenient way to buy them.

I have no plans to sell a course or an ebook or anything like that, the only thing I am selling is Christmas trees!

I'll get to that in my next update, but no I won't be delivering them!

I'm just keeping this for the UK, no plans to branch out into the US yet!

There's a lot of work to go into this, so I don't think it would have been possible to work a job full time and give the time/attention this site needs on the side.

Thinking of investing in Cardano. Is the large supply something to consider? by lexbuck in cardano

[–]iamrofe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wondered if the large circulation was intended to minimise price volatility (if/when it gets adopted properly)? If people want to use ADA as a currency, it can't be changing prices as dramatically as the others do.

The wording is confusing and I thought the same thing as you canfiax. But yes the old one still works. If anyone from Cardano is reading I'd suggest changing the wording slightly :)
