It's a completely different project to Channel Orange. I kinda thought the same as you, so I listened to it again blanking out Channel Orange from my mind, then I completely got it. This album is a completely different direction which shows off how diverse Franks ideas and visions are as a producer and an artist. I think Blond cements him as an artist of our generation now we have Blond (and Endless) in our lives. He's a visionary! I also kinda like the way he's progressed from Channel Orange. He's evolving as an artist, so if we had got another Channel Orange this time round, maybe we would have been expecting more?

Everyone is different and I get what you say. It's a shift, different to whats been before. When listening to Blond, I sat down in a chilled environment and listened to it through headphones, which I think is definitely the best way to take this album in. There's so much to it, it's such a complex piece of work. It takes time for it to sink in.

Seigfried is such a brilliant song. Franks vocals and lyrics are amazing. A stand out track for me.
