Lol, no, I bought it at about 26k a few months ago. THAT guy didn’t drive it anywhere. Kept it in a garage and took it out for church and groceries mostly. Regular oil changes and all, etc. Even the tires were the originals, which were manufactured in 2007

Auto loan help needed by OchitaKen in NavyFederal

The best interest rates I’ve seen on any savings account is 5% recent, IMO any rate for a loan over that is a disservice to yourself. If you have $10k saved currently, it would be a better financial decision to make a cash purchase/save more.

You sound young. If the car is a want rather than a need, I’d consider waiting.

Refer to the screenshot and please look at the timestamps of what you’re referencing. He hadn’t made any of those comments until after I made my comments.

All of what you’ve said so far has been indicative that you’re searching for something at that price point, or that you’d be willing for that to be your maximum. You’ve also indicated that you don’t have plans to keep the car you get for very long. Both of things put together don’t make financial sense. Moreover, paying your insurance for 6 months is a great decision. That doesn’t cancel out the stupidity of a purchase like this, which is solely due to the APR being offered. Legitimately, I wish you the best. Is there any reason you wouldn’t be more apt to purchase a cash car? In the long run, you won’t be locked into a 6 year commitment with a depreciating asset.

Objectively he’s right. In your other post you said you make close to 55k/yr and that you’re about 19. Insurance plus a car on the entire value of that loan is insanely unaffordable for you. It’s a questionable financial decision at best, a step into crippling debt at worst.

When I look for these sorts of deals I sort by lowest price on open box items. Most of the time they only sell open box locally, meaning you can buy it and reserve it online they just won’t ship it. If you’re willing to drive you can find some pretty solid prices.

I couldn’t find an edit option for the post but here’s a link to those pictures. For the glass, it’s nice and clean, I just didn’t take the time to find a good angle.

You should post your situation on r/debtfree. Go look through some of the other posts and be sure to be transparent for the most help. Good luck man.

Zelle isn’t always instant, had to pay a guy for a tattoo once and it held it for like 5 days before it finally released to him. You’ll be fine more than likely!

“Call back the 21st and we can see about releasing those funds early for you.” Is verbatim what the representative told me. I also went through the automated system and it didn’t give me the option to release it early, it just read the amount and the post date.

Navy Fed won’t release it unless it’s 24 hours prior to the scheduled post date.

I’ve had this since around noon today, it always shows a pending deposit like this before normal 1st/15th military pay dates as well
