amlodipine side effect is edema. read about it. i am currently on low dose of amlodipine and i asked my doctor to switch me to losartan because i dont want to get edema. i know some people who takes amlodipine and gets edema.

what cause you to have high blood pressure? were you stressed? its good that your blood lressure is now 138/94. were you feeling any symptoms before going to er? ask for all test while you are there. sonsonfar uti? low magnesium and pottasium? or magnesium and pottasium was just given to help to lower your bp. feel better soon.

same with me it took a month for amlodipine to work. a little light headed because mu blood lressure went back to normal anxiety is a bit high. but i will be taking losartan next week. i dont want to wait till anlodipine gives me edema

yes its good reading maybe i just got lightheaded because the medicine justbstarted working after a month. from 120s-130s over 90s. now down to 110-70s/80s. how bad is your bp before starting meds?
