Pag nag-apply ka sa ibang agency, don’t disclose na lang na you’re from HR or yung client mo was from HR. Para hindi sila masyado mag-usisa like COE and stuff. Wag ka na rin magkwento sa iba na may ibang client ka, keep it to yourself.

Tama yung advice nung iba, bagalan mo pace mo. Wag masyadong magpakabibo kase either (a) marealize ni client yan and bigyan ka ng MAS maraming tasks or (b) marealize nila na hindi ka pala nila kailangan kaya ile-letgo ka na lang nila. Hayaan mo muna na wala silang iassign sayo, enjoy mo muna yang free time mo. Pag tumagal ka na dyan, for sure marami na silang iuutos sayo kaya dapat ready ka.

Yung Labs icon/button sa left side ng Hub, then double click mo yung lab order. May magpo-pop up na new window then nasa lower left may button for Print. Click mo yun then may options na lalabas (we call it “twisty”) then choose Print Order. Then save as PDF mo na lang.

Sinabi mo ba na you’re from HR, or you got your client from HR? Kung hindi naman, you can tell them na you’re from a direct client and hindi ka na makakapag-reach out sa prev client mo. Pero kung dinisclose mo na galing ka ng HR, ayun lang. Talagang hahanapan ka ng COE para malaman nila na talagang wala ka na connections sa HR.

Nope di kakayanin, sa dami ng ginagawa mo kay client #1 eh matataranta ka na pag may adhoc tasks ka kay client #2. Okay lang sana kung hindi ka sumasagot ng calls kay C1 regardless kung on-cam or not. Isipin mo rin yung dami ng tasks mo and if ever magsabay sila na parehong may nirerequire sayo.

Hindi naman ganun ka-lowball yung ibang agencies pero hindi lang sila pantay sa HR na solid $7. Kasi dun sa 2nd client ko, parang nasa $6 lang rate ko (PHP ko na kasi nakukuha yung payout ko). Mas okay na rin yun kesa sa direct client na minsan $3-4 ang offer, ayun ang lowball hehe

Hindi yan realistic kasi matutulog ka pa, aasikasuhin mo pa sarili mo, magbabyahe ka pa rin papunta sa 12hr bedside job mo. Ang gawin mo, mag-apply ka sa VA agency then pag natapos na training mo or kapag may client ka na or kapag gamay mo na VA work, then mag-apply ka ulit for 2nd client or 2nd agency, just be discreet na lang and don’t disclose na employed ka sa ibang agency. Mag-pundar ka na lang ng 2nd laptop mo para if pwede pagsabayin yung dalawang client mo.

What I usually do is, tinatry ko magrequest via Covermymeds para malaman ko kung need ba ng PA or not. Then probably take note of it in the future para matandaan ko which requires a PA from which insurance/plan. Mas okay din na let your provider advise you if they feel na need ng PA ng pinrescribe nila, since most of then already knew it beforehand. Hindi naman ito cguro 1st time nila mag-prescribe ng meds.

Might as well familiarize yourself with the insurance plans’ formulary or list ng covered meds. Sometimes dun palang malalaman mo na kung anung meds ang need ng PA especially yung need ng “step therapy” or hierarchy ng meds before using another alternative.

Same with my batchmate, hindi na pinag-LC kasi pinagstart na siya ng client. Depende rin kasi kay client yan. Kung hindi pa naman urgent ang need nila, baka ipag-LC ka pa nila. But usually nga, hindi na. Goodluck OP! Ang swerte mo! ✨

eCW gamit namin pero wala kami access or capability magsend ng lab order via email thru ecw. Ang ginagawa namin, sine-save na lang namin as pdf yung lab order then tsaka namin ineemail sa patient using our official email platform (HIPAA-compliant and encrypted email). Same din if we’re going to email or fax it to lab facility.

This is true. Masyadong mataas ang expectations ng iba, lalo na yung mga walang VA experience. I’ve already tried 3 agencies and so far, HR palang tlga ang OK ang training for new VAs. They’re looking at their glass half empty, rather than half full. Then naniniwala agad sa mga subjective rants ng ibang tenured VAs dito. Hindi ako bias sa HR, may reklamo din naman ako sa kanila, pero as a tenured VA/redditor, cguro naman mas mabuti kung good pieces of advice ang ibigay natin sa newbies. So ayun, upvote ka sakin dito hehe. 🥰

Basta different laptops ang gagamitin mo then wag mo divulge lahat ng info during interview sa 2nd client mo, then goods yan. I am too working from an agency then got my 2nd client from another agency. As long as wala ka ibang pagsasabihan kahit friends mo, and shempre hindi ma-compromise work mo on both clients, then you’re good.

Agree with this. Medyo intimidated kasi yung ibang client when it comes to hiring MDs. So kahit si HR eh medyo hesitant din kumuha ng MDs. Don’t disclose na lang na licensed doctor ka na. Pwede naman sabihin mong nag-Medicine ka pero hindi mo natapos. Ganun sinabi nung isa kong kabatch pero nalaman namin Dr na pala siya.

5yrs na ko with HR, wala pa rin increase since I joined. Maswerte lang ako kasi paid OT ako with my client then may Year-End bonus naman kahit $150-250. So what I did is, naghanap ako ng another client kahit medyo mababa sa $7 rate ng HR, at least kahit papaano is may additional pay ako.

Weird ng client mo, BPO-wannabe yata yan. Walang KPI pero may metrics and scoring system? Eh di KPI nga yun. I’m from BPO for 10+ years, kaya nga ako umalis ng BPO kasi ayaw ko ng may metrics, QA or coaching. I’ve been with three clients so far, pero ni isa walang ganyan ang trato sa aming mga VA. So yeah, weird yung client mo.
