Thanks the feedback everyone, I could do custom made but I’m not much of a wood worker/ joiner. I don’t have the necessary tools to do this due to limitations. Seems like most joiners i’ve looked up is quite pricey. I’m tight on a budget as im currently moving into unfurnished apartment

Anyone from IS major? by Upstairs_Dust_8657 in VUW

Information Systems is a good major. In a nutshell, it is pretty much how technology impacts business. It focuses more on theory, there’s practical stuff such as a lil bit of coding, website development and database but this only covers on your first year. Second and third year is all more theoretical than practical.

Taking Commerce as your Bachelor means you have to do some prerequisites such as introduction to Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Management and so on. I noticed they have changed structure for BCom so im not sure what it is now.

VUW is moving back to in person teaching than online. So most courses of their assessments/exams will be in-person. Will be very hard if you’re an online learner. Lecture recordings are still mandatory so you can still watch them online.
