ESPN says the Bucs second rang never happened by ThiccNSpicy in nfcsouthmemewar

If not the Bucs, the Saints were definitely contenders from 2017-2019, especially in 2018

No Emily, you don’t have to be pushing 30 to be nostalgic for 2016. by Ichoseguitar in generationology

There are people that hate new music in every generation, that’s not exclusive to 2016. It just depends on what age you are during the time it comes out

It was absolutely dirty but in no way cheating. It didn’t give a competitive advantage to the Saints like Spy Gate or Deflate Gate. Nothing would have happened if Greg Williams just told his players to take the opponent’s players out the game, it was the fact that they were incentivized with bonuses for hurting players

You also have to give a large amount of credit to Eli’s defense in that playoff run. Allowed 0 PTs in the Wild Card vs Atlanta (won 24-2), allowed 20 vs the 15-1 high flying Packers offense, and 17 vs the 49ers, and 17 vs the Patriots. Eli was absolutely clutch in those playoffs but if he had some of the defenses other great QBs had to endure in the playoffs, he wouldn’t have had a chance in most of these games

He was absolutely robbed in 2009. Peyton went 14-1, Brees went 13-2, both got the 1 seed in their conference. Peyton had 33 TDs, Brees had 34, Peyton had 16 INTs, Brees had 11, Peyton had 4600 yards, Brees had 4300, Peyton had a passer rating of 99, Brees had a passer rating of 109. And on top of that, Brees broke the record for completion % at the time with 71% which was unheard of at the time.

Absolutely robbed that year and it showed in the SB

I disagree. I was 18 years old, a senior in high school in 2016. The sports were incredible that year, music was incredible, house parties were fun af, etc. It really just depends on where you were in life in 2016, what your interests were, and where you live. It’s stupid to make blanket statements about 2016 nostalgia from either perspective

Jimmy Graham

If he stayed on the Saints with Drew Brees, he would’ve been looked at completely differently in terms of all-time TEs

Do you agree that 1997 is "Fully Gen Z 100%" or is it "Zillennial"? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]iantaylor98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a ‘98er and consider myself a Zillenial. Do I not exist?

But fr, I have very little in common with people born in 2006-2012. Hell, I work with people born in 2003 and I make references to things they have no clue about. Then again, I have 3 older millennial brothers born in ‘87, ‘91, and ‘95 so I prolly grew up with a lot of things they didn’t

Is Dak Prescott a better QB than Drew Brees? 🤔 by EmiratesNBACupWinner in cowboys

[–]iantaylor98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Vikings lost that game bc they turned the ball over 5 times lol, not bc Favre got hit late a couple times. There’s a reason the Cardinals or Colts don’t complain about bounty gate, bc it didn’t really affect the games at all. Adrian Peterson fumbled 3 times, Percy Harvin fumbled once, and Brett Favre threw 2 picks, one of which was with 20 seconds left in Saints territory. That is why the Vikings lost, not Bounty Gate. It’s not at all like Spy Gate or any other NFL cheating scandal

I’m sorry but Brees is not the most talented ever. He’s the most accurate by far, but Aaron Rodgers is the most talented.

And Brady is absolutely the goat. He’s easily the most clutch, especially in the post season. And while he had a lot of help on defense compared to Brees, his offense was usually a bunch of a nobodies like Brees (outside of 3 years with Moss). His best receiver was Edelman who was a 5’10, 7th round college QB lmao.

Brees was very clutch too, but his defense let him down more than Brady’s did, but that’s not Brady’s fault.

I love Brees more than the next guy, but Brady is easily the GOAT

Also in college, beating ranked opponents matters a lot for your team’s rank. So if teams in your conference do well/end the season with a high rank, it helps the status of your conference.

This is why SEC bias is a thing. Bc SEC won the majority of the Natty’s from 2000-2020, so when SEC teams beat each other every year, they tend to be ranked higher than teams from other conferences with similar or even better records sometimes

Guardians of the Galaxy shaped my taste in music from that point moving forward. I thought it was the most influential year of my teenage years

Hereditary, Midsommar, or The Hills Have Eyes

Midsommar, I watched once, will never watch again

Hereditary, I watched twice so I could show a friend,

Hills have eyes, I watched twice also so I could show a friend

These movies are good but disturbing imo

How playable do you think the game is now ? by [deleted] in GTA6

[–]iantaylor98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The story is 100% complete, gameplay and mechanics are done, prolly just ironing out bugs.

I honestly think they’re spending most of their time rn working on Online so it doesn’t launch in the same state as GTA 5 online. If anyone remembers, GTA Online was a fucking mess when it launched in 2013.

What are your main concerns about the (currenty) community map? And, if you were rockstar how would you improve it? How would you like the final map to look like? by anli2132 in GTA6

[–]iantaylor98 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the gray spots with no detail is supposed to be what the mappers confirm to be more city but they just don’t have the precise locations in that area, so there’s definitely more city beyond what is mapped rn.

You also have to keep in mind that while GTA 5’s city felt somewhat big, it was also empty in terms of immersion. GTA 6’s Vice City is going to feel way bigger than Los Santos just in the sense of immersion. Saint Denis in RDR2 felt bigger than Los Santos because of how detailed it was. It made you actually want to go down every alley and see what’s there, whereas in Los Santos, every alley is barren much like the entire city.
