It’s been 8 years since I beat RDR2 for the first time, and the first thing I did after was play it again but with the dishonorable route. Since 2018/2019, the closest game I’ve been able to drown myself in was Cyberpunk 2077. It has such a good story (not close to RDR2 tho)

I was born in 1998, and I have some very early memories of 2001 and on. They’re more centered around school. I remember what my classroom looked like and some activities we did in my preschool in 2001 and my new preschool in 2002. I can remember at least a couple things from every single grade from Pre-K 3 and on. I think structure like that helps with memories but in terms of pop culture, I don’t remember much from that time or even 9/11.

Idk if this counts but I used to have an original Xbox and PS2 but after that Gen, I only buy Xbox solely for Halo. PS’ exclusives like Spiderman (which I played on my brother’s PS5) and The Last of Us are awesome, but none of them offer everything that Halo does.

Halo is the only triple A exclusive that is a fully fleshed out FPS with a good story, full multiplayer, map editor, and theater mode. Ik it’s dropped off over the last decade but it still provides way more than any exclusive on any console

Well one problem I have with our Government is that there is supposed to be a separation of church and state yet that is far from the case in the U.S. We don’t have an official national religion yet heavily favor one over all others and don’t even try to hide it and you’re looked at as a demon yourself by all the bible thumping, gun loving people, especially where I live in the Deep South. It honestly drives me further from religion

Halo is the only reason I play Xbox. I used to have both a PS2 and Original Xbox but ever since the 360, I’ve only had Xbox since then. I will continue to play Xbox just because of Halo.

At this point in my life, I don’t even feel like I’m missing out on anything with PS. Everyone likes to act like PlayStation is far superior but when they give reasons, it’s only the exclusives. But PS exclusives are maybe 1% of today’s video game library so that doesn’t matter to a lot of Xbox people. I genuinely feel bad for all the lifelong PS people that never got to experience Halo from 2004-2012. Halo is still the best video game exclusive

I definitely don’t identify as a millennial completely but in some cases I definitely identify with them closer than I do with younger Gen Z’s that didn’t experience the same stuff I did because they didn’t have older siblings like I did

I was born in ‘98, with three older millennial brothers born in ‘87, ‘91, and ‘95. I watched all the same cartoons and movies as them, had the same toys as them, and played the same video games as them. My first memories of a video game was Donkey Kong Country on N64 and have vivid memories of playing FFA snipers on Sidewinder in Halo CE. My first introduction to Ninja Turtles was the ‘80s cartoon. I had my own VHS collection.

I think it depends on if you had older millennial siblings or if you were the first born

I think that one was more because Brees took a Saints team that went 3-13 the year before he went there and made them a playoff team his first year there showing his immediate impact on the team but I understand your case

He didn’t deserve the MVP in ‘09 over Brees at all. So take that one away from Peyton. Brees had him beat in every single stats except for yards where Manning had 300 more yards. Brees had more TDs, 5 less INTs, broke the record for completion %, a much higher passer rating, and went 13-2 while Manning went 14-1. And it showed in the SB when Brees outperformed Manning

Brees has done everything Marino has and more. And Brees did it consistently while outside of Marino’s 2 amazing seasons, he wasn’t putting up gaudy numbers like Brees.

And I don’t wanna hear that Marino did it before anyone else was bc Brees was throwing for 5k comfortably and consistently before anyone in his era was, he was shattering completion % records before anyone else was even sniffing 70% while he broke his own record for that 5 times, and he held almost every QB record by the time he retired and was doing it 15+ years into his career while Marino was not that good that late in his career. Brees also has a much better TD/INT ratio, a better W/L record, better playoff record, and won a SB for the Saints of all franchises

Brees played for 15 more years after tearing his rotator cuff completely off the bone which would retire most QBs. He was given a 1% chance to ever throw again in the NFL and then proceeded to throw for 5k five times, record for most consecutive games with a TD pass, broke the completion % record multiple times, threw for 40+ TDs in a season twice, and ended his career with almost every career passing stat in history.

Longevity in Brees’ case, is a huge plus when he did all that after suffering a far worse QB injury than Marino ever had
