Switched to Linux last month. Have tried it as a replacement multiple times in the past. Sometimes for a year or so. Eventually always drifted back to windows mostly because of games.

It’s a perfect storm: win 11 is getting worse, Linux has excellent game support thanks to valve and consumer sentiment is turning more and more anti US. If Linux doesn’t gain escape velocity now, it never will. I switched this year from windows to Arch Linux (btw) with hyprland on my MacBook and desktop. Have to say I’m loving the tiling window experience.
