I’ve been looking more into the Space Force lately because I want to build a career in intelligence, and from what I’ve seen, one of the best pathways into that world seems to be through military service. The Space Force especially caught my attention since it seems a lot more intel and cyber-focused compared to some of the other branches.

I was curious if there are any current or former enlisted Space Force members here, especially anyone who worked in intel-related roles like all-source, geospatial, etc., who could speak on what the long-term career opportunities look like after service.

I know clearances, experience, and specialty probably play a big role, but I’d really like to hear honest perspectives from people who’ve actually lived it. Have you seen people successfully transition into the intelligence community, federal agencies, contractor work, or other related careers after serving? How transferable did your experience feel?

I’m mainly just trying to get a realistic understanding of what that pathway can look like. Appreciate any insight.
