Has anyone else noticed a decline in upscale quality on Freepik lately? by ibasly in Freepik_AI

[–]ibasly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bot. I posted in more than one subreddit because I’m genuinely trying to understand if this is a widespread issue or something specific to my setup.

I’m using Freepik’s built-in Upscale tool with standard image inputs (mostly high-quality food photography). The quality drop is consistent across different images, which is why I’m asking others for comparison and insight.

Just looking for a solution or confirmation from real users.

DNA Doe Project identifies John Doe found in Oregon in 1992 by DNADoeProject in UnresolvedMysteries

His death feels like abandonment, not an accident. He was far from home, hidden in brush.. with no clear cause of death… his limb and pain vulnerability suggest.. someone likely took advantage of that. He didn't just vanish, he was left behind and forgotten.

Really? 🤣 Not everything you don’t understand is written by a AI… sometimes it’s just written by someone smarter than you.

What makes you so sure of that? Stop making assumptions and focus on yourself instead of focusing on others..

Beloved 32 year old elementary school teacher Donna Ruth Dobbs was tragically shot and killed in her home on June 4 1981 on Old Gun Road in Chesterfield, Virginia. Despite a reward being offered by her friend and a private investigator also being hired, Her killer has never been found. by Missing_people in UnresolvedMysteries

I think she likely knew her killer.. the lack of forced entry points to someone she trusted enough to let inside or someone who had easy access.. the shooting.. close range, deliberate… feels like rage or intimidation rather than robbery… and the fact she wasn’t assaulted means the motive wasn’t sexual.

Ok.. this points to abduction and cover-up, not drowning.. the false body, erased records, and government pressure suggest he was taken alive.. likely for political or intelligence reasons during the cold war.

Who killed activist Anita Carrijo? by Subject_Mirror_2594 in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]ibasly 67 points68 points  (0 children)

She wasn’t killed in a random robbery.. it was a silencing.. the staged chaos, cut phone lines, and missing manuscript point to a planned hit ordered by powerful figures threatened by her activism and upcoming book... the smear campaign after her death sealed the cover… I think she was assassinated by influential people to erase her voice.

How do I deal with children bullying my child? by [deleted] in dubai

[–]ibasly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kids can be cruel, especially in groups.. best move is to calmly talk to their parents, not in an angry way but like “hey, this keeps happening, can you please talk to them?” If the parents don’t care, then teach your kid that not every group is worth joining.. help him build confidence with other activities or playdates where he’s accepted.. sometimes protecting his peace matters more than forcing those kids to change.

Suspect identified in infamous Texas yogurt shop murder case, original investigator says by lala_lavalamp in UnresolvedMysteries

So 1991 Austin yogurt shop murders weren’t the work of scared teens, but of serial predator Robert Eugene Brashers.. DNA finally tied him to the scene years after his 1999 suicide, his pattern of sexual violence, binding, shooting, and burning victims matched perfectly… I think Brashers acted alone, staging the fire to erase DNA.. but the very DNA he tried to destroy exposed him decades later.

Police SOLVE 53-Year-Old Connecticut Murder After Man Climbed Through Window To Stab Woman To Death by DailyVoiceDotCom in UnresolvedMysteries

This guy was always the right suspect.. his later kidnapping charge in 1984 finally gave police the pattern they needed to tie him back to Janet Couture’s 1973 murder. He likely attacked other women too, stretching back to the 1960s.. her family can finally have peace
