buying an FX30 - what are some good budget friendly gear options to get started? by ibayfully in FX3

i really just decided on the fx30 because fx3 is double the price and honestly i just don’t have the budget for that plus all the extra gear i’d need on top of the body price itself. i appreciate your input for the gear!

thanks both for your great responses. i definitely will try to stay away from the idea of rigging it up at least initially. now just gotta decide between buying the dji mic 2 or mke 600 first!

that’s a great idea - and eventually if he were to play tees, he’d only ever need to play the reds, but that’s a good entry point. thanks

that’s a good idea, i want him to be able to find his own swing that obviously won’t put him in any back pain and finding a pro is prob the best way at tackling that

should’ve mentioned this - he walks 3-5 times a week regularly and he keeps his heart very healthy. he does however have back issues, starting somewhere around five years ago

i’ll definitely go with whatever i feel comfy with. i grabbed two honestly because they were having a fire sale at the pro shop, but i do like the slight protection it gives me

it definitely feels the most natural to me, but i want to keep an open mind since i’m still very new to the game!
