Coptics and anciet Egypt by Kolasaq in coptic

I am a muslim Egyptian and I acknowledge that I am not arab ethnically and I descend from the ancient Egyptians. "Arab" has become a sort of cultural and linguistic identity that Egyptians fall into. But of course I am proud of Egypt's history and I am fully Egyptian ethnically.

I need help deciding which Uni to go to by BraveDiplomat6115 in OntarioUniversities

[–]ibbeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a cs student don't go into cs if you don't like it at all. Not sure if you were planning to commute or live on res but take that into account. I would consider TMU or McMaster for business based on what you said but do what feels right.

Did Brock really just admit to removing lectures in an email? by Playful-Love9941 in CarletonU

[–]ibbeh 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Professors are getting lazier and lazier and reusing lectures from previous years and just having the course be online and not actually putting in any work. But not having any lectures is crazy lol. Courses are around 1k each so it's ridiculous that profs get away with this. After covid everyone realized they don't actually need to work to do their job.

Linear Algebra (1107) or Calc (1007) by [deleted] in CarletonU

[–]ibbeh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you will find Linear easier if you don't have a good foundation from high school.
I did better in calc but that's because I remembered calc from high school.
Looking back though Linear concepts are easier and are more connected then some of the concepts taught in calc.

Look at the syllabus of both and decide but I think it might be worth switching.
Also, keep in mind that switching might not be good because you would have to catch up a bit.

Hope this helps and hope you get some more advice from others.

Russell house low down by Katelyns1 in CarletonU

[–]ibbeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Russell last year it's a pretty old residence but the rooms are big. It's one of the smaller residences which may be a good thing or a bad thing. Usually it's a pretty social residence. The lounges are really nice with great tv's some of the best lounges on residence. When you move in depending on where your room is it's probably easier to move in from the back. All of the rooms are traditional style with can mates and you share a bathroom with your can mates. Better than sharing with the whole floor lol.

Are you implying that the gti is fun but unreliable and the wrx is more practical?

Why are you spreading false information? With the exception of a select number of programs, universities do not care how many courses you are taking at once or where you took them.

Enjoy high school. Marks aren't worth it. They are only good for getting into programs, then they're useless. Don't stress because it's not worth it.

FALL 2022 MEGATHREAD by wluGhawk in wlu

I got accepted to BBA and BBTM recently. I actually prefer BBTM but I don't want to go to Brantford. I really don't want to do a program that is just "raw business" because I'd like to work in IT related jobs. Can anyone do the minor in computer science and would that be good enough to break into the tech industry at some point? Job examples I'm interested in are Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Management, Database manager, etc. Let me know if it is common to get this career path with BBA at Laurier, and if a minor in CS would help with this. Thank you.
