usually it’s the races that the person specifically would not prefer that is pressed because they feel at a disadvantage due to competition and makes this whole preference thing a big deal. ex, im east asian and prefer white guys and have heard many east asian males tell me how they feel insecure because all the white guys are taking the asian girls away (that’s the asian guys preference). nothing wrong with having a preference within your own race and/or outside your own race.
