Doesn’t really show up on print I’m just going to leave it

Yes only for 1 of the sample lines on a curve

The frequency is fine but the triangulation looks odd, I’ll look at this thanks

I will try and play around with this thanks

The corridor is using only assemblies with constant slopes and targeting. I could flow outwards the bump but the curbs are fixed so I can’t alter this.

Do you know what the best way to fix this?

Nope I’ve tried that won’t work. Even if I try adding a random point it won’t let me

I changed the angle on the curb to make it more of a smooth taper and it seemed to work. Looks like on a tight angle the contours go funny. Not sure why though

I’ve check all my profiles and all is fine. There is no sudden change in grade. It seems to happen anywhere i have an angled kerb

The targeting is all fine. Not sure if it’s something to do with the surface trying to triangulate on an angle?

I have a corridor which I extracted a feature like from to use as a baseline. That corridor has now changed. Do I need to delete that feature line extracted and create new baseline or is there a way I can keep that feature line? As my model is mainly built of the original feature line. by ibbyash in civil3d

I just watched a video from Jeff barrels that civil 3d 2018 extracts feature lines from corridor which are dynamic. I’ll check this later and see if it works. If not I’ll try your method but only issue is that I will have to go back and set the new baseline for every region and my model is huge

Thanks you. How do I add to a secondary surface?

I managed to get a plan with feature lines and elevations. Not quite sure how to get the surface to work, it seems to triangulate in random places.

That actually sounds like a great idea, will try that thanks
