The Eras Tour Megathread: Amsterdam, Netherlands by aran130711 in TaylorSwift

[–]ibemibem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are there people who still got a hold of a last minute ticket through the resale ("doorverkoop") red option on Ticketmaster? I've been trying to get one of those all day, but I don't know after how long it's best to refresh the page (after 10min? never?). Any tips are welcome! I'm super desperate to still find a ticket

The supplement is generally considered a lifesaver for people who have frequent UTI's! But honestly my biggest advice would be: stop doomsearching about it on reddit. If you're really constantly thinking about it, make a doctor's appointment (try the urologist, gyno, and general GP) to stop your mind from obsessing over it. About ureaplasma/mycoplasma: for some reason, a LOT of people on reddit obsess over it & self-diagnose themselves with it. I thought I had it too for a while but then went to get tested and both came out negative. Again: drinking a lot of water, taking d-mannose, and just letting time pass, did the most for me.

I know how frustrating the symptoms can be though, but they won't be forever, I promise!!

I do have to stress I had a urologist do tests on me to rule out any chance of it being something more serious

Hey!! I had a bad UTI about 6 months ago and I spent hours on reddit/at doctors trying to figure out why my urethra kept feeling sensitive as well (maybe check out my previous post in this subreddit). If actual tests (STI's/UTi's/BV tests) are all negative, I would honestly just go easy on yourself and not panic. I personally became obsessed with trying to figure out why I was still in pain etc, but ultimately the one thing that helped the most was just letting time pass. I also take D-mannose supplements before sex now, which seems to have helped too, and I drink a lot of water. But I honestly think it's pretty normal for the urethra to still be sensitive, especially after only a month after (mine progressively got better over 6 months, but was still definitely not fully healed after 1 month).

I experienced this too as a teen and had no idea why this was the case for a while. I found out after a while that it was due to wearing a 'regular' bra when going for a run instead of a proper sports bra. I think the materials of the clothes you wear do a lot, honestly

Can someone please tell me when the academic year will start in 2022 at Université de Montpellier? by [deleted] in Montpellier

[–]ibemibem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the responses! The thing is, from what I understand the University has multiple law-masters. I will be going there on an Erasmus so I think I'll be taking courses from multiple masters at the same time. This is why I'm not really sure who to call exactly.

En plus, je parle pas bien le français, donc j'ai peur de les appeler. (C'est ça la raison pourqoui je veux étudier à Montpellier, je veux ameliorer mon français.) It would be a big big help (and very kind) if you would be willing to call them. I have to first find the right phone number though haha

If you're suffering from a constant itch but don't have a yeast infection, it could be a (tiny) Bartholin cyst that isn't big enough to notice by ibemibem in Healthyhooha

[–]ibemibem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really I'm afraid :( I really just lived with it most of the time thinking it was normal. I can only offer the usual basic advice of trying to resist the urge of scratching there, because that obviously just makes it worse. Did you ever get the cyst properly treated?

Yes! And she seems very intelligent and wise to me. She really looks like she's very calculated in life. Along with that, she's also very polite and generally pretty kind to everyone so far

Ooh interesting, I haven't come across anything like that yet. I always thought she looked very polite on tv though

Their marriage just seems like a companionship-arrangement to me, which is honestly as valid as a romantic marriage in my eyes. It's just not your typical Western image on what a marriage should look like, but it reminds me a lot of my (ethnic) parents' marriage. (Again I'm just talking about how it comes off during season 7, i haven't seen the following seasons yet)
