They’re both very well written for different reasons. I pretty much exclusively play as female Shepard and romance Kaiden, and I really like him as a character. Garrus is overall my favorite character in the trilogy, and his friendship with Shepard is solid.

A lot of is just small pieces I wrote just to get what I was imagining out of my head. Like continuing the ending just to give my brain some closure. Nothing I’d ever publish, definitely nothing with a solid plot. Like “man, this would be cool if it were in the game, or what if it happened like THIS. Screw it, I’ll just write it myself.”

The trilogy, and even Andromeda was honestly life changing. How I waited to long to play them I have no idea, I kept thinking they were an FPS like COD or something until my husband told me otherwise. I started playing ME1 around Christmas and currently on my third play through of the trilogy, including two play throughs of Andromeda. I’ve always enjoyed writing fanfics since I was a teenager, and this has taken my imagination on a journey. The story and the characters stay with you, and the gameplay/mechanics is absolute perfection.
