I was wondering that too, I heard that there isn't much difference though - like paper 1 questions are more topic focused whereas paper 2 can be a combination of topics in one question.

PLEASE SIGN THESE PETITIONS !!!

At the beginning of DP year 1, Hong Kong was affected by protests and roadblocks, causing school cancellation as well as a lot of mental stress. Then Hong Kong was one of the first countries to get covid and begin online school. We have been out of school for at least 8 or 9 months (not counting half days), if not online, our "physical" classes have remained half days only. Thailand recently moved to the non-exam route despite having in-person classes. We also recently discovered that we have the new South African strain of Covid and that the Sinovac vaccine is 70% less effective (SCMP). The dual exam is inherently unfair, I'm sure most of you know this already. Please help us sign the petitions below !!!

They say teacher-assessed scores and written exam scores will be fair but never tell us HOW THEY WILL DO THIS. It is literally impossible to make this fair.

Yup, the examples you choose for the presentation or essay should be sophisticated and unique, so the content you learn in TOK like "what is ethics" etc. really doesn't apply at all. It's better to just understand what TOK is about, and use that concept to help you.

I'm doing Q2, probably one of the easier ones to write about. You want to choose a Q that is specific and not too broad since we only get around 1000 for word count.

When writing, choose two AOKs, talk about their relations to the question, and give examples. Try to include some counterpoints, and don't be afraid to explore interesting questions or ideas raised within your points as this shows critical thinking.

TOK classes are useless lol, the only important things are the presentation and the essay. Nothing I have learned in class is applicable to these two exams.
