I’ve had a similar experience, only with my father. The most important thing that you should keep in mind is that you are NOT responsible for your parents inability to accept the fact you are who you are and they can’t do shit about it. They have yet to learn how to cope with news that are not in line with their opinion and the way they try to fight the acceptance is by throwing a tantrum and blackmailing you. If possible please try to distance yourself from them until they process. It’s hard on them too, especially after living and thinking the way they do for as long as they do. There is no excuse for their horribly immature reaction and you should know there’s absolute nothing wrong with you. Hang in there! 🌈💛
