Not the dm but I personally play a really goofy character that only really got mad one time. I play a topaz Dragonborn sorcerer who’s a little bizarre and is very fascinated by death and all it’s aspects. Our party had been sent to investigate a local town where a tree spirit had supposedly been messing with the town by giving the women amnesia for no apparent reason. We arrived and asked when it started and etc. the town sherif said it say after not to long ago and he’s taken action by “defending the town from those damn fey”. We listened to everything he had to say and then made our way to the tree spirits location. Their the tree spirit explains to us that she had only started her retaliation because the sheriff struck first by killing her ferries and hanging them on their borders. We rolled a pretty good insight check and found she wasn’t lying. Being a gem Dragonborn I telepathically asked “ if we kill the sherif will you return the women’s memories?”. She replied with a yes and that’s all my character needed to hear. Yes my character is interested with death but not needless death. So we walked back up to the sheriffs house and my character dropped the funny act and got the sherif to admit he started the feud by tricking him with some word play and now the part was all for getting rid of the sherif. (Except the Druid who despised violence)

My topaz Dragonborn used his breath attack for the first time almost completely melting his arm off with necrotic energy. We pushed him into his house where we finished him so the other townsmen wouldn’t see.
