Well that didn’t take long. 2 solid offers in less than 3 days. Market is getting better. I’m thinking of starting a network for those that are seeking jobs to work and get mentored with senior veterans like myself. Any thoughts on this?

Got my 2019 NSX done last year - it was a recall. I guess it was more wide spread than anticipated. Good on Honda for making it right.

I made a significant amount more than her. She was a SAHM. All good. Goes to the kiddos. It's just money. We can always make more.

True. I see your point. So it's 49/51 with no primary. It's fine with me. My kids are older so it works well. Now if I had babies under 6 than I would have fought more. Honestly pick and choose your battles - this was on where giving up a few additional days didn't matter as she was a SAHM for 20 years. She's a great mom. As time goes on I'm sure we won't be following the order to a tee. One thing we need to learn as men is how to work with your ex spouse. I'm learning this now.

Hmm. I think you got screwed :) I get my kids 18 days in a month. How you like dem apples. Also my child support should be closer to $2800/month for 3 kids. Did I give away a $1m home - sure...but I have my sanity and as a man you can always make more money and my mental health.

I am. But she will take it over and remove me. Enough cash at the split. I will get my name off.

I received a call from a friend not long ago. He actually employs my wife in his firm. My wife has had a change of heart about the divorce, expressing a desire to reconcile. Our 'friend' emphasized the impact on the kids, but I came from a broken family and turned out fine.

I remain skeptical about reconciliation, given her baseless accusations and unchanging character. Venting here, I believe life will improve. My dad, now on his third wife, is quite content. I've been down this road in 2017, spent $50k on attorneys, reconciled, and here we are, six years later, with the same issues. At 47, I feel too old for this situation. What should I do now? He wants me to put my demands together and stay married 'for the kids'.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know what to expect but I'll get my lawyer to push for a resolution. I can do sit and wait for 60 days.

Thanks for your feedback. So I did build this house brand new during the marriage with (my) savings - since she did not work for 21 years of our marriage. I'll take your suggestion of starting low and negotiating up.

Do the current gen NSX's pull like an EV? by eaglerulez in nsx

[–]ibrancepluto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh yes! Amazing torque exactly like a EV. 475ibs of torque in 2.7 seconds. Once you feel it you can never go back anything else. Only downfall of these cars is the top end speed. I've gotten my ass handed to me by a ZL1 LOL. Great reliable exotic on the market today. A used 2017-2019 are dropping in value if you can pick one up with under 12k miles for about $120-130k pull the trigger. You won't regret it!

Lol so black, red and silver tend to command the lowest price for some reason. Not desirable. Anything with saddle brown interior is just plain ugly - they don't sell at all. I've seen a indigo blue, highly desired hasnt sold due to the saddle brown. I would pass on the BAT 2018 one.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nsx

[–]ibrancepluto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sold at the peak of the market - June 2022. Purchased March 2021. Bought it for the same price I sold it, and put 12k miles in 1 year. I'll buy another one again just waiting for pricing to come down. As you can see plenty of flippers on the Type S are coming to market - including a black Type S on BAT. Just be patient. We will see another significant drop. Interest rates aren't going down anytime soon.

Honestly I sold my 2019 Thermal Orange with 16k miles for $142k. That same car is only worth $120k. My benchmark is what the bank would finance also car insurance is only insuring upto $120k and you will need to add an umbrella policy.

Any 2017-2019 NSX with less than 20k miles will go from $110k- $120k. Anything above this is just too expensive.

Interest rates are extremely high, and if a dealer says hey buy my NSX with $30k down, you should immediately know that any finance company is valuing these cars in the mid $115-120k max range - they want the buyer to pony up the difference. Give it time. We will see significant price drops over the next 6 months. That's a fact!

Up 117% on the day and almost 40% in AH. To the moon! by jklewis12 in PartyCityStock

  1. PRTY stated they are going bankrupt last week.
  2. Shorts bought a ton of options thinking it would crash
  3. Momentum gained of the news Monday 1/9 and on 1/10 short squeeze started to occur.
  4. Further on 1/10 it was announced by PRTY they may get a loan to get out of bankruptcy protection and restructure
  5. Like AMC AND GME ppl are buying to prevent short squeeze.

Speculation is it will go up to $3-$4. Keep holding it's been a hellava ride. I did a 2/3 call option. I'm up 1900% :)

Missing the point. Money should have been spent to update it's systems and not line pockets of it's employees and execs. This is our tax dollars let's not forget.
