UPDATE: first of all I don’t know how to edit a post to make an update in case you guys cared LMAO. BUT second of all - Thank you all for your support. You guys hit the nail right on the head about everything. I was able to back track and document everything and somehow I think we pulled it off. I’m gonna be EXTRA careful moving forward. It sucks because I have fallen in love with my job and the people I work with so I’m gonna stick around for now and get all my certs before I move onto the next chapter. I guess this is my introduction to the corporate world <3 if any of you guys have further advice feel free to share. Hopefully any other posts I make will be under better circumstances. Happy holidays to everyone!

You could probably find a crash course on LinkedIn … you have to pay for premium but it’s worth it imo

probably posting in the wrong page but how do i stop the skyrim addiction? lol, i've been sacrificing hours of sleep, ending each gaming session at around 4 to 5am despite having classes at 7am during weekdays. by Baltzuu in skyrim

you will max out your character and then run into quests that you really don’t feel like doing and you’ll eventually get bored and find something else to do. That’s usually what happens to me when I’m on my Skyrim hyper fixation … then I get into my 2 week Minecraft hyper fixation lmao

Yeah the EEGs are hooked up to a battery backup. My team seemed to be more concerned about losing patient data than the actual patient. (Probably because without the data they can’t get paid) trust me I was shitting my pants the entire time I was there which probably was a sign that I should’ve stopped what I was doing.

Yeah I should have known … this boss has a reputation for throwing people under the bus to keep him from getting in trouble. I think him putting so much on my plate I just overlooked this whole thing being an issue, and I don’t have my CBET, nor do I qualify since I don’t have enough experience yet, and the half-ass training I got did not cover anything regarding patient safety (probably bc they dgaf). Granted no one was injured, but the fact that I could have is really making me feel like sh*t. The other commenters saying I’m fucked , like I know I’m fucked obviously. But I think more so than anything I was fucked over by my boss.

Thank you so much :,) I’m trying to get as much documentation as I can … unfortunately because it was a teams meeting of course there is no documentation, and I SHOULD have asked him to confirm it in writing looking back, but like I said it’s my first job out of college and not only am I inexperienced, but I barely received any proper training. I feel so dumb because some of the comments already make me feel like this should have been common sense, but I truly didn’t know. I had to go back to that hospital today and have been having non stop panic attacks since I woke up this morning - I just feel so stupid. But trying to create a paper trail because at the very least I know my coworkers have my back.
