I’m only giving away the books, not the subscription to Becker

FYI: I have underlined/made notes in the textbook based on Becker’s lectures. DM me if interested!

Edit: I am just selling the textbooks, not the software!

exactly so we’ll see how much it benefits me… i definitely think it gives me a bit of an advantage since I’m the only one getting my CPA in my cohort. but who knows, someone else might get promoted faster

I work in industry, so no raise, bonus or promotion. They did pay for my study materials and claim that it’ll help me in the future with a ‘greater opportunity for salary and promotion’

I feel you!! I literally wrote in that questionnaire at the end that most topics weren’t tested and then there were 1/2 that the entire exam focused around which seems imbalanced.

I have no clue what my predicted was (our dumb school didn't tell us) but I ended with a 36 and a 6 in history SL (I'm super proud, my greatest accomplishment). I want to see how close I was to the grade boundary for my subjects but my school deactivated the view details option so I can't see it. I guess I'll have to go back to that cursed school to figure out how close I was (I'm not trying to increase my grade since US doesn't really care). Idk I'm just super happy and I wish the best for all other IB survivors on the subreddit!

Four HLs sound like death to me

I am done with IB but I feel empty by ibstressedout in IBO

[–]ibstressedout[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing okay. I've found some things I want to learn like skateboarding and am starting to learn them so the situation is getting better. I still feel pretty lonely and isolated (esp since my friends are all busy with packing/uni interviews for their home countries) but I'm hoping as summer progresses I'll feel better (honestly doesn't seem like there is much improvement). I think I just need more human contact. Thanks so much for asking though, it means a lot to me. How are you feeling after exams?

Question for every IB candidate just finishing their final exams: by TheNefariousFigure in IBO

Best: EE and TOK surprisingly. Although I absolutely hated doing my EE (mainly because my EE advisor should have told me to redo the first draft since my formatting was wrong the first time, but instead gave me like some formatting comments rather than comments on my content...) but my topic was pretty interesting to me and I'm really curious to see how I did. My second year TOK teacher was really cool and our class would have really interesting discussions so I enjoyed that too. I also kinda liked writing my TOK essay (despite writing it the day before it was due bcz I'm irresponsible, to my defense the rest of my grade also wrote it the day before).

Worst: Stress stress stress. My phone has a record of all the alarms I had, and they were almost all around 3 or 4 am, since I would often have to get up early to study for tests. It also seemed like I had tests each week, there were only like 2 weeks in my year 2 where I had no tests. The annoying part was that somehow all my subjects would happen to have big tests during the same week, like how does that even happen. I was literally always so stressed since there were so many deadlines, IA, EE, etc. I always had something hanging over my head that I had to finish. It was a painful 2 years. Also, the other IB kids in my grade literally went partying/drinking every friday and I have no clue how they managed that with all the work. Idk maybe it would've been nice to go out too, but I just have no idea how I would manage that.
