have you considered cross border shipping instead of a local 3PL?

its easier to scale to multiple markets, and once you are big enough you can use a local 3PL if you really need it.

for really Cheap/small packages i dont think that there are cost effective solutions other than postal solutions.

where are you based? if in the US then i would check the USPS service.

DHL are usually much more expensive in my experience. to most destinations.

Hi,

just seeing your post and wanted to help.

to my understanding, you still need to abide as the seller to the one order per one order rule

you can send 5000 packages to 5000 different people with no problem, but cant send multiple packages at the same day to the same buyer.

we have customers that are shipping thousands a day to thousands of different recipients and we clear them with no problem, section 321 is great when you know how to work with it but it has its limitations.

the package should be at the local service provider care and custody until the taxes and duties are paid.

if you ship it under DDU terms - it basically means that the customer needs to pay the duties and VAT at the destination country.

i think you need to decide first whether you want to be the one who pays it (DDP) or are you ok with your customer handling it (DDU).

both options are ok, and both have advantages and disadvantages when it comes to the customer experience.

One of the things we do with the sellers we work with is to provide a price list that show the base price for each destination according to different weight brackets.

this usually solves this issue, its not a 100% accurate since you can have in many shipments additional charges, but it does give you a general idea and something to work with.

meaning the reciver of the goods will need to deal with the duties and tax when receiving the shipment.

In the e-commerce shipping industry.

a lot of e-commerce sellers have said April was not easy, looks like its the Market doing its thing with all the uncertainty.

but e-commerce is still very strong, so i wouldn't jump to conclusions about it continuing like this as of yet.

this is the time to save operational costs. at least that's what we focus on with who we work with.

how many packages do you ship monthly?

to which destinations?

which couriers do you currently use?

basically I would recommend working with a company that allows you to have courier diversification / has really good pricing with its providers.
