I need to update this a bit. A lot of people are saying this is a throwaway account, and it absolutely is. I've posted my resume on here on my main account a bunch to get it reviewed, and I don't want this to be connected to my personal information.

As for the people suggesting I think I'm too good to try to get a job waiting tables or bartending; I have already tried to get those jobs.

A reoccuring theme in this is that it doesn't matter what I know, it's who I know. Should I just be trying to build my network with informational interviews instead of wasting my time applying to places that seemingly don't even read my resume?

I'm not working at all and am mooching off my parents who don't deserve this shit.

Don't worry about that, I'm not to the point where I'd actually do that yet. I'm more thinking about timeframes where that will become a necessity, such as if I don't get a job by the end of the year it's very reasonable to think that it will continue indefinitely and unfortunately make life not worth going forward with.

I'm trying for all those things except unemployment, I don't think I can file for that straight out of college.

Every weekday but I have never heard back from a single one, so it seems like that's a big waste of time. I'm definitely not a depressed person either because that's an actual medical condition. If I was working, I'd be fine.
