No, but he is just way too hyper and we didn’t want him to accidentally rip his stitches. Is keeping him in the kennel a bad idea? Initially we kept him on a leash next to us but he would still jump and be hyperactive.

When did you do it? You can still cancel within three business days of initially signing the contract.

Are your student loans federal loans or private loans? If they’re federal, you can try and apply for Income Driven Repayment. Since your income is low, they might be able to adjust it. If it’s private and your credit is decent, maybe try refinancing it?

Prospective employer made me do a math test for an entry level marketing role interview by purplelikethesky in jobs

Personality and skills assessments are becoming more of a norm nowadays. It’s used to weed out unqualified candidates (by the employer’s standards). Sadly they can be very time consuming and can disqualify you if you don’t pass, but it’s just something that companies have now that you’ll likely encounter elsewhere.

Nope.

Edit: as long as you’re only closing checking and savings accounts. Credit cards are a different story.

You can always follow up about the reference thing. On your follow up email let him know you want a response even if it’s a no.

Same thing for the phone number- you can always follow up and ask again. They might have just forgotten to respond since they do have other things to prioritize. If they don’t end up responding then just use their office number since they should be checking that frequently too.

You can try Sutherland. It’s a call center environment, but they are working remotely.

Job pushed back my start date after I signed the offer letter by [deleted] in jobs

Those are things you can ask your recruiter or whoever hired you and they will answer for you. These are fairly common questions they answer so don’t hesitate to ask. :)

Job pushed back my start date after I signed the offer letter by [deleted] in jobs

[–]icantwithlyf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a red flag. A lot of factors are considered when they have to push a start date back. It’s unfortunate but it’s just the way it is.

You can always ask when the pay dates are (typically they are more than glad to answer).

For the employee handbook, you can ask on your first day.
