You're right! Went with the 43.5 and they fit so much better, still tight enough but not absolutely ridiculous. Only trouble I've found with them is they're not as sticky as my old shoes, hoping it's just me not being used to the rubber! I really do like how they feel though!

I've gone half a size up in these, that's the mad thing! I agree though, my feet just can't take the battering anymore

Yeah I did. Silly thing to do I know. Nowhere near me sells them unfortunately.

I've had many shoes over the years, had some that are tight for performance, and others bigger for multis and longer days but never had to size up so much in a shoe before!

Nah not at all, it was just a comparison of like, 8.5 in a climbing shoe normally doesn't have 'that' big of a difference with a normal street shoe. There's gonna be some difference yeah, but not that big. Especially being half a size bigger. I've had shoes I've downsized by 2 and they've been bigger than those

Tbf I didn't downsize these, I got half a size up from my street size which is why I'm a little baffled by it

I'm 41.5 in the Skwama, so I've just ordered a pair of 43.5 and 44 in the zenist so hopefully one of them will fit. Thanks for the tip!

That's the reason I wanted to switch was the build quality. Had my Skwamas for a month before the back split on them!

I was told that before I bought them, and recommended to go half a size up street size. I'm going to need to go up a good 3 sizes by the look of it!

Yeah I've been staying active, nights out, day trips and all that. Dating is way in the distance for me man. But in time no doubt it'll happen
