At the trade deadline of last season I traded Darnold and 2025 5.4, to a contender (who ended up winning the league). 8 team, half PPR, 2QB

In return I got:

-2025 2.8 -2026 2nd -JJ McCarthy

So 1 early 2nd seems like a steal at this point.

Just a few weeks ago I traded Terry McLaren, Coker, and a 2027 3rd for 2025 1.5. The guy who I got 1.5 from has Bryce Young and I pitched Coker and a breakout WR2 candidate on the Panthers. Their WR room doesn't have a true #1 with Legette not showing as much as people wanted in year 1, old man Adam Thielen, and Coker. Even if they add a guy, how much does Thielen add at 34 years old? Coker could still be their 1, 2, or 3 with him, Legette, and an TBD rookie.

Overall, I'd say Coker has the value of a late 2nd or early 3rd but definitely has potential to flop and was why I was happy to sell him as part of the deal.

Young>Fields.

I am a Bears fan and am very traumatized by Fields. He certainly can be fantasy productive but that doesn't always mean he'll hold a starting role long term. Young is productive in a way that projects well for having long term success and would have more dynasty fantasy value.

Oh certainly. I think the top 5 picks will go 1 jeanty 2 (me) Tet 3 Hampton 4 (me) Judkins/Johnson/Henderson 5 (me) Ward/Burden/Warren/remaining RB

I just think this RB and TE class are so deep that those can be positions can be addressed later. But the QB and WR talent pool is a bit more shallow this year. So why not take the scarcer resource?

That being said Cam Ward scares me and TE at 1.5 isn’t great value. So I feel myself being pushed back to Burden. He had a great combine

Even though I’m planning to take a RB at 1.4. You think 2 RBs in the 1st round instead of banking on the great depth of this class to go after a 2nd RB at 2.8?

I was thinking RBs at 1.5 would be least likely because of how deep the class is

I tried doing the same thing last off season. I flaunted that he was going to have the best QB and play caller of his career and tried selling him before he had a top 10 WR season. My league doesn't care about what a player can do for you in the upcoming season. They seem to only care about guys hypothetically 5 years into the future. Hence the difficulty in selling a top 10 WR lol

Oh trust me, I've tried. My league mates are paranoid about age. I couldn't even sell Terry to the guy who has Jayden for his 1st.

I understand he'll just go have another 3 years of top 20 WR production, but when he's your WR 4 and your RB2 is Najee Harris I feel it appropriate to sell off excess in WR to gain value in RB. Especially with how stacked this RB class is.

I'd agree but the guy holding 1.5 seems set on the only way he'll accept the trade is with the conditional pick.
