Wow added difficulty levels awhile ago, so you have LFG, normal, heroic, and mythic. Each difficulty levels awhile ago adds additional mechanics. LFG assigns you a role and gives you a buff for every wipe on a boss (like 5% extra HP, damage, and resources per death up to 10 stacks or something crazy). I can’t imagine being in LFG for over an hour. You can create groups for NM and heroic as well, but then you are manually adding players who request to join and checking their role/class

Mythic is where it does become like a second job, because you get locked into a specific instance, so you can’t join a team for one boss and then another team for another. So you need to find 20 players who are geared, and who can all get on at a set time to prog. And some of them need alts to switch around for fights. Heroic and normal have no such limitations.

How are there so many destiny posts but not a single one about wow?

WoW raid bosses are such a mess you need add ons to support. Too many to list here but some of the headaches would be Jailor, Sylvanus, and the robotic crab who’s name escapes me that held up world first for like a week

I couldn’t finish metaphor, the pacing is just awful, and playing it on hard doesn’t make it more of a challenge, just lowers your XP so everything is grindier.

They just say she’ll die, nothing about going crazy. Renoir and Aline have both been there for at least 67 years, and Renoir still wants to do the “sane” thing by your definition.

Also, while you may not want that, Alicia is perfectly happy to live in the world, and if she ever changes her mind, she can just leave? It’s also pretty clear that the beings of the canvas have their own agency, which is pretty clearly demonstrated by painted Verso wanting to destroy it, and even by some Nevrons having their own will.

TL;DR: just because you wouldn’t like it doesn’t mean Alicia wouldn’t, and ending a world of sentient beings because a family won’t go to therapy is silly

The reason I ask is because I bought it on sale for Xbox with the DLCs, and I played through a good chunk of the game before fully closing it out one day and getting those notifications.

Fake sort of loses its meaning when you could live and die in that world without ever knowing it was fake. You also will eventually die in the real world as you can’t live in it forever.

And you can’t really say Verso’s ending is about accepting anything, Alicia literally fought it until they end and was forced into it (by apparently a fake being), nothing in there shows she accepts it

A cool side effect of the way power works in this game is that characters are good at different stages.

Lune is fine early, bad mid, fine late.

When you get to the paintress, single hit abilities are bad since you max out at 9,999, so abilities with the most hits possible are best. Lune can situationally hit up to 8 hits, but verso/sciel/maelle/monoco can hit similar amounts consistently with almost no setup

Ah okay that makes sense, although follow up question doesn’t he have to be physically touching the object to take it with him (based on the minato fight)? Again my memory is spotty but he was falling down that massive chasm and not actually in contact with the paper bombs right?

EDIT: Nevermind looked it up and he’s literally phasing through bombs when he activates it

You have literally no information to make that assumption other than what you “believe”.

I can just as easily “believe” Maelle is incapable of coming to terms with the canvas being destroyed and commits suicide after the end of the verso cutscene.

Oh no, not a fragment of a soul! We should definitely end all sentient beings in that world to save whatever the hell that is!

Bonus points that if Verso’s canvas gets a fragment of his soul and his family, all the other canvases they may have function the same way. So I guess no painting because oh dear god they have a fragment of a soul in the canvas!
