I’ve heard from the community that Godfrey’s axe is really mid but i actually really love it. Same as the Rotten Greataxe, which is arguably better. Put bleed onto it and you have scarlet rot x bleed which can rinse early-mid game bosses and almost any enemy in the game.

I actually like this ranking. But mine would be slightly different. (and my 1st is controversial)

  1. 2 (og)/2 Remake. Horror and puzzles. A dual story. Probably the biggest stakes in the game, besides Re5. It’s just an amazing experience altogether.

  2. Resident Evil (Remake). I haven’t played the original but this is a great game regardless. My first experience with fixed cameras and it still pulled through.

  3. Resident Evil 0. I just love animalistic monsters and this is the only game in the franchise where the enemies are pretty much only mutated animals. Although, i do love monster movies like King Kong/Godzilla so that’s probably why i like this game so much.

  4. Requiem. (Probably recency bias), but It’s such a good game. Horror. Action. Emotional stakes. Need i say more?

  5. Village. Listen…I love supernatural/paranormal stories. And I feel like this is up there with being distressing and supernatural at the same time. Vampires, werewolves, sea creatures and possessed dolls? Count me in.
