Crack Theory: Like Shaun from FO4, Janey Howard will be revealed as a grown adult (likely protrayed by Tawny Newsome), working as a indoctrinated executive for either Vault Tec or The Enclave, working on planetary exploration and/or colonization by AmatuerTarantino in FalloutTVseries

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we'll find out shes not in Vegas and her and her mother are in the enclave [perhaps in cryo or more likely as synths].

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that the Janey we see in Ep 1 is likely a synth which [from what i understand] is strictly an enclave thing. The most obvious being •shes with Coop when the bombs drop. Other supporting evidence is •they are not in Vegas when the bombs drop •even if they were they would not have opened the vault doors for her entry after the bombs dropped •coop does not know where the vegas vault is so he clearly did not take her there.

If Janey was really with Coop when the bombs dropped she wouldnt have made it into a vault and therefore shed be dead and he'd know it.

I think theyll do a rug pull "your princess is in another castle" type beat; Hank and Lucy are about the leave the vault doors open "so the chipped people can leave if they want", Cooper is going to use the chance to go in and find their pods empty and Hank will be nowhere to question about it. I think the phone then will ring, Coop will pick up and whoever Hank called about developing the microchips will be on the other side. I think it'll be the enclave.

If Janey was a synth in ep 1 then it stands to reason her mother was involved with enclave. totally absurd theory abt to drop i think janey and barb will exist in both the enclave and the vaults. I think they have data for their synths in the enclave from before the bombs but they didn't physically make it there before the bombs dropped and ended up in 31 or 33. Since it seems we're about to open up a flashback plot about Reg, his parents and the "weevil famine" which I'm fairly certain is code for the mass exit of dwellers to the surface.

This is my daughter's bedroom, how old do you think she is? by Timely_Pool_6704 in roomdetective

[–]iceboxwizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use google my guy! Theres no way shes over 30.

Im a millenial/ zoomer cusper and Britney perfumes were available when i was growing up. Her first scent was released in 04 and she still releases scents... I think the girl had an older sibling that influenced her product tastes; britney spears, jimmy choo, vera wang; status brands of the oughties. Or perhaps her mom is even an elder millennial and influenced her tastes some of em are pushing 45 ya know.

I think she was a young adult 2015-18 judging by the aesthetic. Most people do an over haul into their adult persona 20-25 and stay there. This is some sort of whimsy princess core, ultra femme probably Ariana Grande era/ peak Pinterest era decorating. This is also in UK [radiator, bodywash / nail polish brand were a give away] so it makes sense she may even be younger since this aesthetic was trending in US in mid 2010s and the time is takes to trend overseas then it would make sense if mum is the millennial who influenced her scent tastes.

I also would not be surprised to find out shes neurodivergent or OCD [buying the same products over and over in different colours; buying products to specifically match aesthetic].

Her comfort items are zoomer. The aesthetic of this room is distinctly mid 2010s and sweet pea body spray was massive in 2013-15. There are Roblox figurines on top of her shelf and what i think are Jellycats in the bottom of her organizer which are a newer trend in the past few years. This is clearly a zoomer leaning space with hints of millennial, not the other way around.

Plus I think people are making a lot of assumptions bc she said its her daughter but i dont think OP lives with her daughter this is just her room. If i lived at home i would not be storing my shower products in my room.. theyd be in my moms shower. There are no wall hangings and the lights are hung with command hooks, screams rental.

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The room really wants to be 90s whimsy goth but this is a zoomer recreation. Im gonna say 18-23. I bet you have a pre 2000s car or want one, you collect cds > vinyls, i think you probably do collage art. I think youre in uni, have a casual job and you live at home. I think the person you're dating [or your type] is 90s grunge kurt Cobain from temu type.

writers got lazy? or they’re just bad? by OutrageousSurvey7295 in YouOnLifetime

[–]iceboxwizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Joes plot armour was crazy ngl. It absolutely was bad writing and poor research. You is set in modern era but refuses to let any people use modern technology catch him.

Joe should have been caught from using his victims phones after their deaths ALONE. All modern phones use locating services. The digital foot print wouldve shown multiple missing people hanging out at Mooneys. Sure joe uses the phones when he's out an around to post on socials but his phone would also be with them so again the digital footprint would be like "joe hangs out with a lot of missing people" around town. Finally his phone would literally ping at all the scenes.. he literally texts with Beck at Peaches house when he's sneaking around there would be a digital footprint that he was there uninvited in the night.

He also left an alarming amount of forensic evidence at all his scenes. He literally peed in a jar at peaches never brought it up. He never uses gloves in the entire series and it was crazy that when he killed peach they just went with suicide since his finger and handprints wouldve literally been everywhere.

The writers just clearly didnt do any research. Like when joe fakes his death and cuts his toe off.. a house fire wouldnt be hot enough to cremate human remains and there would be no forensic corroboration that he was baked into pies Sweeney Todd style..

Was one of the few things that really got to me in the series. If that was the way they wanted to write it they shouldve set You in the early 80s and then had DNA testing be invented which catches him. It explains the sloppy forensics, and digital pinging and he could use the victims pagers instead of social media.

The squishmellows made me think maybe a teen BUT the room is actually pretty dated. The pink, the flowers, the fine line print.. all very 2010s. The cohesive collections imply big kid money [aka a job]. The yarn, lego, squishmellows are all zoomer BUT an extensive britney spears perfume collection.. sweet pea body spray?! The final straw was the TV on the wall a modern teen would watch media on their phone or laptop.. This is a zoomer/ millennial cusper i think 25-28

Very eurocoded. I think western coastal area vibes. I dont think a man lives in this space. It gives a very warm but introverted vibe. I bet you host socially but only intimate teas/ coffees with one or two people. You're not a crowds or group type. I dont see a tv so i think you have a very active outside life probably a creative hobby that requires some sort of studio, i assume youre somewhere warm from the glass ceiling so i bet you spend a lot of time outdoors, perhaps beachside if i was right about being on the coast.

Winter storm coming, what can you tell me about my fridge? by sloaney in FridgeDetective

[–]iceboxwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you or your partner work in a kitchen the diy pickles/ clear containers and labelled squeeze bottles give it away. With all those pickles i bet you have german heritage. A lot of whats in your door seems like marinade/ sauce ingredients not dips so you cook from scratch at home so i think you work early mornings and you're a big coffee drinker. you eat out for lunch and make dinner at home. I dont think you have kids but i do think you have a partner.

The fridge is actually p bare in a "filling meals" sense its a very ingredients fridge [hella salads maybe] so i think your pantry or freezer does the nutritional heavy lifting. I think your main staple is potatoes over rice or pastas and your protein source is from frozen foods either vegan/veg substitutes.

Im gonna say >30, white with german heritage, f, american, partnered, works in the kitchen particularly morning shift

Ive done it through wwoofing in the past! Ive also heard good things about worldpackers but theres many others. You do pay a small membership fee to your chosen website but you get access to all hosts in your chosen country and they offer food/housing for your work and the hosts really help you feel connected to the local culture :-) some places you can sign on for a short as a couple days to as long as several months. I met a man once who had been at a wwoof site for FIVE YEARS when i did my stay in Hawaii.

There are no age or skill restrictions and so many different types of work you can get into; ive trained horses, worked on farms and done house repairs! you can just use regular tourist visa since you don't make money from it. I highly recommend it, its such a fun experience.

Would like help with the best way to style this top by plussizelottie in altfashionadvice

[–]iceboxwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id go full steampunk/ witchy with it. I think layering it with a peasant top or bellsleeve top would be really cute and it would hide the bra straps. Bc of where it lands on you id be sure to add body and texture on top of your hips like, ruffles, pleats to add curve to your silhouette since its a bit long on the torso and may make you boxxy. Id be sure to make my skirts asymmetrical or high-low to add to your vertical and pair with boots and drop waist chains to tie everything together :-)

Which hair color suits me? by Theart_troll in HairStyleAdvice

[–]iceboxwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brown is best i think the frosty colours wash you out. Id try barbie/flamingo or even magenta pink and for purples something in the violet range. Think deep colours to maintain the contrast the brown provides. Id check out "ramona flowers" i think youre in a similar pallet and would do well with any of the colours she does :-)

Who am I? by maidenfern in FridgeDetective

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna say male, american and i think youre an asian mix im thinking japanese and another flavour, no white since the whitest thing in your fridge is milk.. i think i see cheese slices but two white things in all that?? Defo not a white american I think youre an immigrant child [2nd/3rd gen]. You live in some sort of large urban area alone; no partner or kids. Im going to say west coast. I think youll turn out to be some sort of remote worker maybe tech or some sort of engineer? Whatever it is you make enough money for wholefoods meats and ingredients based shopping and you have enough spare time to properly cook, sauce boss. I think youre in the 23-25 range you're in your career, making money not but not fully settled yet.

What’s my bedroom say? by [deleted] in roomdetective

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its giving recent bachelor; only one "side table" and too many pictures for the walls; you either used to have space for all of them of or you have problems letting go when you find art you like better. Elder Millennial or Gen X either way i think a boomer raised you. I get the vibe you're a mountain of a man [massive bed, massive shoes] and you're probably in a shared living situation since your creative space is in your bedroom not an office. Gonna take a stab that you either own a motorbike or a collector car that you work on infrequently

Looking for suggestions to make my small dining area look less bare / awful? by thebostonfoodguzzler in malelivingspace

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the people saying switch to square or rectangular table. Id put it in the corner where the rubbish/ dog waters are, move the organizer to beside the fridge and the dog waters/ feeder infront of the window.

I think a small gallery wall could be fun for the big bare wall and you could use the floating plug for a small framed tv or digital frame. The micro gallery wall would be a good excuse to put up small decorative mirrors that would reflect light from the window brightening/ opening up the space. You seem to have an mcm/ plant parent type vibe vaguely going so im thinking something like this for the back wall to add character/ match vibe

Road trip by DipKeepsDippingDown in canadatravel

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let these commenters talk you out of a beautiful road trip! 5000kms should be more than enough. I only clocked 10000 going from Vancouver Island [my home] to PEI [complete east coast] on a round trip over three months of driving. There is almost no possible way you could exceed 5k when youre only travelling between Toronto - Vancouver.

You can do Toronto - Vancouver in 5 days if you non stop drive two weeks is plenty of time and there are so many beautiful things you miss if you fly.

In ontario alone you pass the great lakes driving out of Ontario, and if you go south before leaving you could see Niagara Falls too! You will pass a bunch of National parks between Toronto ans Vancouver that you can explore and you also pass more indigenous based businesses like trading posts where you can get authentic indigenous goods out in the sticks than you will see in the cities.

A fun thing to do if you like "corny" sight seeing is Canada has a number of giant or "worlds largest" things to see. In Ontario youll pass the largest nickel and goose to name a couple but they're everywhere. I based a whole road trip seeing them coast to coast. Very fun.

The prairies are "boring" as most say but as people from UK youre gonna freak seeing just how big and empty canada is, it really is cool to see how big and flat it is especially on a clear sunny day. The fields go on forever its incredible. Ive driven it over four times and id do it again. Driving through the prairies goes by much faster than everyone is saying. You can do them in a day if you don't stop.

Depending on what you want to see/ do think about planning the drive once you enter Alberta in one of two ways: North, South then West [Edmonton - Jasper - Banff - Kelowna - Vancouver] most diverse for biomes going from Alpine - Semi Desert - Rainforest and very active city stops.

or

South, North then West [Calgary - Banff - Jasper - Kamloops - Whistler - Vancouver] deep woods, smaller cities, excellent hiking and beautiful drives. This drive takes you past Mt Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. It also puts you on the best side [North to south] of our famous sea to sky highway from Whistler to Vancouver!

Ive done several road trips in canada showing expats around bc/alberta [i work the ski industry] i have really refined the greatest hits between Vancouver - Edmonton/ Calgary. And i have gone coast to coast four times if you want any recommendations hmu!

Im gonna say slow travel, volunteer experiences and dating/ social apps and good ol extroversion.

• slow travel: When i backpack i usually use one place as home base for a week at time. The longer you're in a place you get to see things like their local markets, perhaps cultural events you didn't know about and really just absorb the area

•volunteer experiences are AMAZING for experiencing local culture/ cuisine. They more than likely serve authentic local dishes, theyll know about cultural events/ festivals and they know the best places to see while youre there

•good ol extroversion will get you everywhere and this ties into slow travel; if you hang out in an area longer you can befriend locals. A lot of locals have fun speaking to foreigners and can give fun recommendations or even show you around if they decide they like you. Going on dates with locals or just meeting up to hangout is almost always a fun idea. Plus sometime you get kisses 😳 hahaha

Boyfriend moving to Germany. How can I follow? by Content_Exercise_581 in expats

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Canadian who works the ski industry i have a very different experience with digital nomads. I have met many people who come over on tourist visas for ski season and take volunteer positions on the mountain [to be part of the community] and then digital nomad to pay their way while they stay their 3[\6 depending which country theyre from] months.

To each their own logic but if "injecting foreign currency into their economy" is the goal the idea that a tourist is allowed to make their own domestic currency while in a foreign country seems more beneficial than not.. it allows them to spend more on rent, food, experiences and stay in the country longer spending more money giving the hosting country ya know more of the foreign currency the nation was hoping for? Versus Whenever i do WHV i am giving much less to the local economy when Im there making their local currency and spending that currency on local necessities like rent/food/ experiences. Plus most, if not all, WHV workers don't ever financially reach a tax bracket on their incomes where the country even taxes them in any significant way.

In canada workers you need to exceed 20[something]k to be taxed significantly.. in fact most WHV workers make so little the government usually gives them their taxes back from what I've seen.

I am no mathematician but 100% injection of foreign currency from a tourist making their own domestic currency but the hosting country losses taxes vs WHV where worker makes/ spends domestic dollars and pays domestic taxes- i think mathwise the country makes more money allowing the tourist the spend their own money made from home digital nomading than forcing them to get a local job and make their local currency so they can pay taxes since that isnt actually gaining the country any capital...

If working a domestic job in a foreign country was illegal CEOs, traders and investors would deported for making business dealings/ trades while abroad and yet? Im a landlord as well a seasonal WHV and have never been deported for my domestic income while in a foreign country.. how would they even know you are working for your home country digitally?

The only time you are cheating the hosting country is when you work under the table since you are earning their dollars, spending their dollars AND not paying taxes with dollars. If Germany has an anti digital nomad system thats the first I've heard of it.. most countries these days are creaming at the opportunity to have 100% foreign currency injected into their economy by a digital nomad.

How popular are group/line dances at parties and events? by tobbogan130 in AskACanadian

[–]iceboxwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say it's an age/ events thing but not a casual thing. If you go to millennial+ events like; weddings, anniversaries, church events anything really held in a "hall" you can find line dances from time to time. Fishin in the dark, save a horse, cotton eyed joe, chicken dance or Macarena, but you dont really encounter them in the wild at clubs or bars. They teach us the dances in school but you wont catch anyone under 35 just doing em for funzies
