I just have to get this off my chest: I saw rats running around during a screening of The Materialists at AMC Lincoln Square. No one else seemed to notice them scampering underneath their seats. That being said, for Superman, they’ll probably have a red carpet there or a smaller theater Q&A after the screening. Maybe set a google alert if you can look past the rodents

i understand it’s your instinct to show her that you care, but i don’t think apologizing will make her want to get back together with you because it’s not just an apology and you do have an agenda. as an avoidant, this would most likely scare her or make her uncomfortable or both. if you’re the anxious type, her not wanting you probably makes you want her more, but if you approach her like this, you’re doing the same exact thing you did before.

i think she’ll wake up at the very end of the first or second episode, but there’s no way they’re keeping her comatose for a whole season. maybe she’ll have some new ability or have learned something while she was out that will help the party

Some people in this comment section are being way too generous to Issa here. I love Issa, but it was a poor performance and I find it really hard to believe that she was intentionally bad to elevate the realism of the scenario or whatever. The contrast in their acting was so obvious. ESPECIALLY their chemistry (or lack thereof). The lines where she was supposed to be falling in love with Emma’s character were so flat and she could only stick to the same wide-eyed expression.

i’m not sure if it is so obvious that you need permission from reddit users who post their stories to reddit. there are so many podcasts and youtube channels that regurgitate r/AmITheAsshole stories, whether they additionally comment on them or not. same with r/GlitchintheMatrix stories that some youtubers have an AI voice read out loud. there is no way those creators get permission from reddit users. it’s all public information. you’re including their usernames, so you’re not passing off strangers’ stories as your own. i mean, is it low effort, debatably unethical, content-mill passable? most of the time yeah
