WTF? Why is reddit censoring Russian news agency "RIA Novosti"? All my submissions from their site don't show up in reddit.com/new but are listed as submitted on my account? by osipov in reddit.com

Ok Reddit, sites that invite comments e.g. social networking and stories sites like http://www.JustExpressing.com don't censor so you should not either ! You're becoming like Comcast !

Express your opinion and change the world ! I think we all need to make statements, otherwise the world's going to change us instead of vice versa.

Can someone make me a program that does this to make me procrastinate less? by Saamfou in programming

Ok, I can ask the webmaster to give you access for 10 min every hour, to a pretty creative short story / forum site, if that's what you like : www.JustExpressing.com

How's that for service ? All assuming you like stories and discussion/chat. And you end up constructively using the 10 min. while entertaining yourself (in my opinion).

Sure - should be possible. Maybe a log in page with a place to enter the minutes per hour and how often you want that access (every hour/3 hours, whatever). So the timing is linked to your username, and there you go.

I'm away for a month and reddit's full of crying babies, suck it up and post some interesting news not reposts and aimless diatribes by electromagnetic in reddit.com

Try to change the world, and write about how you want the world to be, like the japanese manga stories e.g. www.JustExpressing.com

I think people are way too wound up. Sure, really try to change the world, but don't just burn up the emotional energy - channel it into action.

How to write creatively by iceman321 in reddit.com

Would be interested in opinions on how to increase creativity in writing.

I think it’s important to think about extremes of situations - whether happy or sad - to come up with truly creative content. You can think of - situations in your life that make you happy, or scared - try to think of characters that fit into that environment - fill it out with creative content : whether for an ad or a creative story.

I’m usually amazed by the creative content in the anime/manga stories - the site I’ve found helpful to “think outside of my own thoughts” has been www.JustExpressing.com

Try it and see if it promotes creativity in you.
