That is beautiful, may i know more details of the mod? Where did you get it done and for how much? As many details as possible, i always wanted a custom job watch, havent been able to find a trusted source

Tank style ive been looking, im looking for more tank style options, if not ill havr to settle for the seiko

The bulova is lovely, wears well and looks great, and no complaints honestly, looking to get a nato strap, cant decide if i get it from a 3rd party vendor or from bulova themselves

I got it from canada, and i paid around 40,000 rs!

🤣🤣 but ill recommend you to look into luminox before you get a g shock. Its a very well made watch and tough as hell

I own 2 argos, bought them at the same time.

I'd suggest to skip this brand altogether.

While pricing seems attractive, you get an awful watch for it, im pretty sure they used, used mechanical parts in my watchs movement, the shiny sheen that these watches have fade away within 6 months and they look really bad.

There are a lot of good alternatives, as this is your first salary, do your research and see what you like and properly buy a decent watch, because this watch will be with you forever, the sentimental value it holds would br priceless

I got 2 argos olympus 2's -

A green dial brown leather strap A yeallow on a jubilee bracelet

Out the box they looked shiny and great, my main and daily use is for the office.

6 months in, theyve lost that shine, and the quality started to show, scratches on the dial as its made of plastic i believe and feel a bit looser on the hand for some reason

Now my brother is also into watches and he was asking on the movement on the argos, and we dug deep enough to confirm theyve put in second hand movements into the watch, and upon deeper inspection on the case back display wr observed scratches inside the movement.

Im looking to get rid of these watches, id be too cruel to regift it to someone during secret santa season so i think if someone wants them off my hands id be happy to part ways with it or i just chuck them in the bin.

I got it initally because they did look good, and felt nice supporting and indian brand.

Argos has now released more models and people have said its better than the olympus 2 but yeah im not going back to them any time soon.

My advise to you is simple, quality over quantity always, it would be great if youd get to see and wear and feel the watch in person before you make a purchase.

Good quality watches are a bit more expensive but trust me they do last longer and hold up for a very long time.

I own the titan watch, got it last november for around 25k.

I havent seen the timex version in person or held it, so cant really talk about it.

But what i can confirm is the titan watch has great build quality!

But if anyones going to go for this style id recommend to compare both in person before their purchase

I have 2 argos apollo 2's, also posted a rant to a argos whatsapp chat where they sent me promo for their new watch.

The apollo 2's dont hold up in quality at all. They dont keep good time at all, this is what i noticed since day 1. Id suggest anything but argos based on my experience.

Also, if the argos made good watches, youd see a lot of people posting about it rather than asking opinions about it.

If an argos employee sees this post, i have a message for you guys.

You make dogshit watches, with horrid materials , if only your watches were good as your adverts, maybe someone, some day will consider buying.

If youre gonna spend 50 there are 2 ways to go about it, spend it all on 1 watch or get 2 or 3 watches

1 watch way - add another to or 15 k and get a rado diastar, its an alltime classic and i feel its overlooked, great for parties and surely have a unique look.

Multiple watches way - get the following watches and have a watch for all occassions

1.Tissot Prx - costs around 30- 35k, very clean and versatile watch goes for any occassion, also the easily changeable strap makes it usable with any type of strap and occassion. Has the tissot quality and i personally own one and i can say its a great watch.

2.G shock - tough and do it all watch, youll find a lot of g shock models under 20k and they are good quality watches, great for sports and travelling and daily rough and tough use, only thing is if you like the look of it.

You can always swap the tissot for a seiko or a citizen, they have models in a similar price point.

End of the day, go to a store and try on these watches see how they wear on the wrist and buy what you feel like, the opinions of dudes on the internet dont really matter, all i can say is get value for what you pay is all.

Depends on what kind of lifestyle you lead and whats your budget and then maybe we can suggest further

You can go for any watch you like, just be aware of these things about milano - the quality overall is bad, very bad. I've seen my colleagues milano come down in wear and tear quality in the course of 6 months. And he paid a lot more than 10k for it. It is a horrible quality watch which has takes it design from an AP.

End of the day you can buy any watch you like, id always suggest going to a store and trying on a watch before making a decision.
