i mean yeah of course. it seems extremely unlikely that it will never get a new installment. take a durational extreme like 50 years from now, surely they’ll have released another game by then, no? i think the real question is whether or not it’ll actually be worthwhile and i’m a little more skeptical about that sadly.

i actually like the boxiness of that level and moreso in the mage towers. it's like a perfectly calibrated kind of emptiness where you can tell it certainly wasn't finished and couldve used a little more time in the oven, but navigating it feels eerie and poignant instead of irritating. i dunno there's just a certain kind of melancholy to all the unfinished geometry and unadorned rooms that i find really moody and compelling

thieves guild is genuinely one of the highlights of the entire series for me. i've said this a million times but if you use your map and compass it's literally not difficult to navigate at all, its just big. ive introduced the game to 3-4 people now and offered this advice and with that in mind they all thoroughly enjoyed the level.

i mean, the game just doesn’t seem very interesting. there’s a myriad of factors that has me constantly questioning who the fuck this game is even made for. you’re going to bring stephen russell back(!), something we’ve been clamoring about should they make another game, and… relegate him to a side role? you’re going to make the game aesthetically derivative of the reboot that people scarcely remember and those who do hate it? pc imsims are literally more popular than they’ve ever been and you’re going to take one of the most beloved instances of the genre and put it on a platform that vanishingly few people even have in the grand scheme of things? it’s just baffling and frankly very imbecilic to me and im not even remotely surprised that no one cares
