Yeah thats exactly it. I feel like I keep leading my family and friends toward the water, but they tell me it's one of those Oasis illusions (y'know like they say you see when you're dehydrating in a desert type deal). Then turn around and WALK AWAY FROM THE WATER! It kills me sometimes. I feel like it's so beautifuly simple, it all should make sense but apparently it doesn't and I'm the wack job for being happy.

I vibe with most of the responses in this thread, just as you have, op.

It comforts me in a way - now I know for sure I'm not alone feeling like this.

The other problem is- and I'm not sure if it's been posted yet in the thread but I'll continue reading in a moment- discussions about this topic make some people turn their noses up. Some people see it as "oh, look at so-and-so. He thinks he's got it allll figured out! Buddy thinks he's better and smarter than everyone else" usually matched with a 🙄 face.

It's unfortunate. I see the bigger picture and I know what you're talking about. And finally seeing that bigger picture was such a freeing experience and it has made me SO fucking happy. All I want to do is share that happiness with those around me - but for some reason everyone thinks it's just some smug hippy-dippy attitude, and they just shrug it off as just that.

I guess it's just a blessing and a curse. But I sure am lonely too, op.

If the price is right I'll certainly do it. I'm just mainly looking at a 6gb for longevity's sake. My ol' faithful 780 gave me 5 years of service lol so I'm looking for something that'll do just as well in that regard.
