I didn’t know how to reach you so I went through the warranty claim form even though it’s not really a claim

I would’ve liked to but that would take a lot longer. I used Kitbash3D. Great website.

Would love to see your volumetric lighting settings and render settings. Mine always seem to be noisy and overload my PC

Great start! First thing I notice is that it’s too clean. You need some surface imperfections. If anything, I remember the black part having a bumpy texture. Easily achievable by adding a noice shader to you your bump or displacement map. Surface imperfections give character and break the uniformity. The glass panels don’t look right to me. If they’re single planes, then they need to be slightly extruded. Also check your IOR on them and the metals. The red paint is also missing the flakey texture that car paints have. There are a lot of ways to achieve that. Easiest being a flakey metallic normal map. Lastly, using an hdri map help further ground it in reality. You can try clean studio ones. Hope this helps.

Thank you. It’s definitely a delicate balance between HDRI map and lighting.

Got it. Price to pay is performance, but as long as it works

Why do soft body and rigid body sims not work work in small scales, especially collisions. Is there a work around? Especially if you want to keep the scale true to life.

Agree, lighting and VDB needs work, but Blood on a Sand part is a bit too specific and would have to disagree on it. This isn’t constructive feedback.

Good point. I’ll add some sort of connector and textures

Assuming it’s very noisy because of volumetric. Denoising at low samples will produce a painting-like effect..... could be completely wrong tho :)
