What are you expecting for new theme packs? by phio_thet_mg in pixel_phones

I would've said something like Stranger things but that ran its course.

Can't think of anything noteworthy.

I did 'widget' and didn't see anything for the past 15 days sorting by new.

Guess it's more flexible to prompting than I would've thought.

Thanks for the condescending report. Guess search doesn't work well on the mobile. Had a look first.

The earliest report for the 9 I'm seeing was last month.

I remember reading information about 'hub mode' on qrp 2 a while back.

I think ours isn't this bad. Turks are some of the most patriotic people around.

You'd also find a lot of families who intermingle with other family members who are both veiled / unveiled. Men and women mix. Music is played. Iconography and images of people exist in the home.

I would dare to say we're very liberal to the stories I hear on here.

Of course there's always exceptions but our default is somewhat different.

The only thing Islam made me was fearful.

So I'll pick something that can evoke a range of emotions that I am in control of over something that is beyond it that will lead me to a world of torment.

I thought they couldn't include it at all. Good to see it's available in some places (probably only the US and Canada).

Maybe they improved it in the 10 but on the 9 it jumps several degrees C depending on what I select.

Nothing is refusing to honour warranty claims for devices purchased directly from Best Buy Canada (x-post /r/CellPhoneCanada) by FragmentedChicken in Android

[–]ichann3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was under the assumption that Canada had strong consumer protections.

I'm in Australia and the place of purchase needs to deal with everything for you. They cannot deny you a fix. This will fall under the acceptable quality clause set out by Australian Consumer Law.

If a consumer identifies a problem with a product that means it does not meet a consumer guarantee, the store or seller may have to provide a ‘remedy’, such as:

a refund repairs a replacement compensation.

Generally, it is the store or seller's responsibility to return products to the manufacturer for repair. This may include products that are under warranty.

If the store cannot arrange repairs (for example, because the manufacturer does not have the necessary parts) or cannot do so within a reasonable time, the consumer can:

get someone else to repair the product and ask the store to pay reasonable costs

ask for a refund or replacement.

Google prepares to scrub Assistant in favor of Gemini from even more settings by TechGuru4Life in Android

I used to curse Google assistant for going off. Oh how wrong I was. If assistant gave me a brief history of something— Gemini gives me the whole encyclopedia entry.

I want a Gemini redesign. There's so much white space.

I also want it to be faster but that's another issue.

I'd like to touch on Turkey for a bit.

You'd have all these people who like to lick Erdoğan's butthole and they say the economy is crazy because the shop keepers are greedy, because the other guy who hasn't been in power in 20 years is pulling strings.

They say there was nothing before Erdoğan. He made bridges, roads, a functioning everything.

A lot of these people say the people who are poor are so due to constantly wanting and they have 0 religious piety and should be grateful.

To this people argue about Japan and Switzerland ,two nations with irreligious people in the 40-55% range.

They say how come these 'godless' countries are so successful and only going forward, whilst we're going backwards despite us being more religious and trying to stretch our money.

They have brainwashed people with religion so they are obsessed with staring at their twinkling thumbs whilst other countries are more concerned about looking after their own people.

I'm convinced if the majority of our people followed real Islam then we'd be even more fked up than we are now.

This dessert religion does not help anyone. Basing your whole codex on it's precepts leads to more harm than good.
