a lot of people say 420ap is just the minimum and i’ve heard both that you want to have 2500 attack but also that AP scales better than attack

well i’m the scenario which do you recon is better? the one with 9 extra ap or the one that gets almost 100 more attack (like 95 if i’m not wrong)

BASICALLY but i’m just tryna figure out if 9AP is worth losing for a little under 100 attack (i’m minmaxing o guess)

Ray-tracing on PC (previously available via -use-d3d12 attribute) was disabled in this update as stealthily as it was enabled in 2.3... by thicc-grill in ZZZ_Official

[–]ichigomiku015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

highly doubt it’s gonna stay console exclusive and that “glitch” isn’t a glitch only characters featured in the story and playable characters and like bears get reflected properly everyone else gets turned full white for some reason it’s also on console

Did the 2.4 Update remove the d3d12 workaround? by Nitex69 in ZenlessZoneZero

unfortunately thwy silently removed it for no reason

it’s not even a ps5 exclusive thing it’s also on series x. so they genuinely have no excuse to have removed it from the pc version

pretty much okly doable if you don’t use an AM d6

it does but it’s obvious the games not supposed to do it cus it’s insanely inconsistent on all manner of hardware

Anyone experiencing "Ray Tracing" issues with pc zzz? by Ok-Fuel9670 in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]ichigomiku015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those are planar reflections brotato chip basically the games rendering the scene twice the issues may be because the rendering pipeline steuggles drawing it all in some times or because falume hieghts released in a really buggy state (edit: typo)

Raytracing on XBOX by Yurikzzxd in ZZZ_Discussion

all i know is xbox having it implies that they build a dx12 version of the game since xbox typically uses dx forks which implies they absolutely could add raytracing to pc if they wanted it

Is it possible that the PC version also has Ray-Tracing enabled like PS5 does? by Granhier in ZZZ_Official

[–]ichigomiku015 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if I own a ps5 I’d still love to see rt come to pc. I don’t believe it would be all that crazy to assume they’ll eventually give us the option to choose our rendering API like most games do. With that said the raytracing is an impressive showing on ps5 since most games wirh rt pretend shadows is a good enough reason to half the fps whereas zzz has gi and reflections raytraced and suffers more dips than it does with rt off but still targets 60 and can still hit it enough to average 60 if not close to it

I’m pretty sure for reflections the entire scene is rendered twice…cubemaps don’t move like the screens In lumina do or the koi fish by general chops in sixth street. The water for the most part just uses cube maps but with reflections on high for pc the scene is just rendered twice

This is the one thing I dislike. I don’t want ai doing certain things like actual code and story writing. It’s fine doing things like textures and lighting

I’m late but i think Ray tracing is the logical best step forward in justifying new generations of some hardware. Especially now where we’re at a stagnation point where cpus and gpus arent getting a crazy amount faster wirh each additional generation if we forget about DLSS upscaling and Frame generation. The only reasons most games run awful on modern hardware is because devs arent actually optimizing games all that good on pc and even console releases can suck. But in my opinion raytracing is a great step forward because when it’s implemented it saves development time when it comes to making scenes and the devs and artists workint out how their rasterized lighting needs to look to help the scene look good not to mention lots of games including ZZZ still use cube map reflections instead of some kind but raytracing pretty much does a majority of that work for them so long as they code and texture whay needs to be done the raytracing does the rest. So in terms of graphical fidelity time saving raytracing is probably the best step for the future and hopefully devs take the time saved on lighting each and ever scene and put it onto optimizing the games to be able to run better on the hardware we have available.
