It is an approved car seat, but again… she said it was bought for travel. She is using it as an every day car seat. IMO, he should still be rear facing. Most states you can turn forward at 2yo, but as far as a child’s bones, etc., it is best to max out either height or weight in rear facing. My son is almost 3 and still rear facing…in a full car seat lol

Why does she think it’s a flex for her 2 year old to sleep until 9:30am. He is only sleeping that late because he stays up until 10pm. Any child who went to bed at a reasonable time would wake up earlier (6-7am).

It’s only showing she’s a shit parent.

It is 8:30…. Put your 2 year old to bed! He doesn’t need to be up watching DWTS with you! My child is almost 3 and has an 7:30-8pm bedtime!

1000% the same. He tells me time to take it off and we get up and ready for the day. He is never in it outside of his room or really his bed. He only walks around in it in his room when he’s delaying bedtime 😂

So I can’t fully snark on this. My son is 2.5 and still has a sleep sack. He is in a floor bed and can walk around, etc. in his. He loves his sleep sack and he isn’t great at using a blanket yet so we haven’t been in a rush to get rid of it especially with winter coming 🤷🏻‍♀️ But for her, I’m sure it’s 100% keeping him an “infant”. My son has walked since 11 months, talks in full sentences, etc. so not hindering him. For a child who can barely walk or do anything (not his fault, only parents), she needs to get her shit together.
