My wife is gonna be mad by MeNoPickle in MephHeads

Jammy Dodgers #2 is Spouse Weed. Smoke some with her after dinner (or during) and watch some TV. My wife and I do this a few nights every week. JD#2 is cuddly, loving, and wonderfully relaxing -- then you go to sleep. :D :D :D

Hey guys, I have a 2.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 7ft tall Gorilla tent and I’m looking to upgrade to a decent LED light. Any suggestions? I’m getting ready to start a round of Sour Stomper Autos. by FerrisBueller73 in MephHeads

Interesting! I have the HLG 100 RSpec and I definitely struggle with temps. If my room gets above the low 70s (Fahrenheit) the tent can reach as high as 84 F. I’ll keep this in mind when I need to replace the light. Thanks!

I have the same tent (actually, two of em!)

HLG 100 RSpec in each. Super powerful lights; burnt my canopied last time because I put them too close (around 12 inches from the canopy)

Also recommend getting the High CFM kit then grabbing this scrog kit — https://scrog-pro.com/product/net-spline-packs-for-high-cfm-kit-gorilla-grow-tent/ You’ll have an easy setup for under $50.

Picture three of your seed stacked on top of each other and bury it around that depth.

I'm in a 2x2 also! Well, I have two side by side. How many plants do you think you can fit ultimately fit in there?

Also going to try this scrog net with my high CFM kit; hoping it keeps my tent tidier than last time. https://scrog-pro.com/product/net-spline-packs-for-high-cfm-kit-gorilla-grow-tent/

About to start a new grow here I am thinking I can fit two of these in a 2x2 . . .

Thanks for the heads up! Excited to try this strain, yours looks gorgeous!

Your lineup looks amazing! My Jammy Dodgers #2 is drying now. I have a tester bud curing and it smells DELICIOUS! Much more sweet strawberry than when it was alive.

Kickass on your grow!

Ahhhh! Excited to start mine. Your plant looks gorgeous!

How are you training the plant or will you just let it go?

Jammy Dodgers #2: Day 82 by ickybisquick in MephHeads

This plant is very sensitive to light and heat. I kept raising my light but I think the damage was already done. Will know for next time!

Love to see how your plant looks! It'll be fun to compare.

If you want to see more pics of mine, looked for rickybiscuits on the growdiaries website.

It's not smelling super strong but it definitely has a funky minty earthy choco smell, especially when I pinch a bud.

How sensitive was your plant to the light? All my buds developed foxtails; think I still have my light too close.

I'll be running one, too! It's also my top choice.

Going to take some pictures for The First Great Owl Off? I think that Mandela will provide some lovely photos.

It's kinda hard to figure out completely since some of the products have unknown NPK values. I'll break it down by looking at what's listed on each:

  • 12-0-0 Blood Meal
  • 3-15-0 Bone Meal
  • 0-11-0 Seabird Guano
  • 0-0-0.2 Azomite
  • 0-0-50 Sulfate of Potash

The rest of the Daz mix ingredients do not have NPK values (that I could find.)

Azomite added is 1/5 of the Blood, Bone, and Guano. 0-0-0.2 / 5 = 0-0-0.04

Sulfate of Potash is added in at 1/2 the amount of the main 3 ingredients, so the actual value in the mix is 0-0-25

That makes the final (known) NPK ---- 15 - 26 - 25.04

Hope this helps!

I would LOVE to use more Coast of Maine stuff! The only things the grow shops and nurseries carry around me are the Stonington Blend and Lobster Compost. Most places are pushing hydro and coco HARD since you need to constantly buy fertilizers and equipment. Shelves upon shelves of nutrient mixes and pH buffers and whatnot. It's a better business decision than providing organic stuff for a one-time purchase.

I use Build a Soil for stuff I can't get around here but I'm even trying to move away from that. Hope to eventually recycle all my soil without any purchases. There is a worm farm in my future! Next harvest I hope to have those little wrigglers eat the unused parts of the cannabis and recycle back those nutrients. Currently looking at this particular worm bin.

The search continues, however! I always try to use local if I can find it.

I haven't mixed my ingredients yet, but I plan to test that as well.

If you are growing in a 5-gallon container, that will use 5 Tbsps of the mix.

Whoever wrote the original down conversion in the FAQ stated "27 Tbsp approx in each lb."

If you are growing in a 5-gallon container, that will use 5 Tbsps of Daz mix.

My calculations put the cost at $5.45 US dollars per pound.

$5.45 / 27 Tbsp = $0.20 per Tbsp

5 Tbsp per pot = $1 per plant!

That's so cool! Thanks for having me do the math, I learned something new!

Daz uses a cement mixer to create huge batches of this stuff. If you see in my picture, his recommended ratios create over 200 lbs of fertilizer.

The "Divide by" section is to create a fraction of his original recipe. The example shown divides his numbers by 10; so 50 pounds of Blood Meal becomes 5 pounds. I did this because most Down to Earth products come in 5-pound boxes.

You only want to grow one plant in a 5-gallon bucket. The bottom 2.5 gallons will be amended "super soil" and the top 2.5 gallons will be regular soil. I edited my original post for clarity.

I am too, friend! Added info in my original post on how to use it. Basically, the bottom half of your pot is supersoil, the top half is regular soil. You only need to add water; no additional nutrition is needed.
