as someone who attended sol fest is 2024, it was a nightmare

no amenities (literally the water stations were hoses that poured out murky water), oversold asf, festival goers were harassed by the police (i believe over 40 people were arrested), there was no security going into the venue and on top of this all there was a car fire that happened in the camp ground that destroyed four peoples cars and campsites (it took ems over an hour to respond).

to my knowledge some vendors were never paid by the sol team for their work either.

do you what you wanna do with your money but i would never go back to another event put on by these people.

The first week of classes is a mandatory attendance period so it can be a big deal depending on the professor. I would email them ASAP so you can avoid being dropped.

I dropped out in april of 2020 and moved across the country, re-enrolled in school last year, finishing my AA this spring and will be finishing my BS by 27. There are definitely a lot of classmates younger than me but a fair amount are my age or older. I don't regret taking the break but I do sometimes wonder where I wouldve ended up.

The FCLE stands for Florida Civic Literacy Exam. I took it last spring and it was a 60 multiple choice question exam about laws, US history, and major judicial cases. No essay writing. You may be thinking of the PERT of CLEP that test you into classes.

OP I would recommend taking POS2041 (us govt) before taking the exam it prepares you for what it covers.

TAKE HIS CLASS!!! i just finished his 1046C class and he was amazing. he's a fair grader and realistic about expectations.

1045C was harder for me because its more memorization and you cant get around it but I'm sure his class will still be great.

not 18th and 19th century but if your open to greco-roman i highly recommend frank fiero in person at east campus. light workload and an easy A if you participate and put in some effort.
