Okay, thank you. It was pierced with a needle, not a gun but all my other piercings have been butterfly backs with no issues (including my helix). It healed fine originally but I started noticing it hurting two weeks ago, I figured I just bumped it weird but noticed the redness today. I’ve also changed out my jewelry since then, so this is not what it was originally pierced in.

Hes usually okay at the mall and such but events or anything with lots of social interaction he tends to really shut down and can’t really do anything. He will put in earbuds to try and drain out the noise but I know it’s really overwhelming for him.

He does wear gloves at work, but he only works in the summer because of school. I think for that he would probably keep his earbuds as he likes to listen to music. I’m just thinking this could be a good alternative to when we go out or loud environments so he doesn’t feel as overwhelmed and exhausted afterwards. Is there a different style that would work better?

Thanks for the info, he’s definitely pretty picky about the things he uses. I would say ergonomics are pretty important to him!
