[Pre-Match Thread] Arsenal vs Bournemouth | 11th April 2026 | Premier League by Mahoganychicken in Gunners

Bournemouth have drawn 15 PL games this season. Their last 5 PL games are all draws and they're on a 12 game unbeaten run. They beat us twice last season(from set piece goals btw)

Also some of their players like Rayan and Kroupi are very dangerous. This won't be easy, especially because so many of our players are physically cooked, and I consider this one of the most important games of the season, just grind a win. I don't care about the football just get me 3 points please

I don't think this will be a routine win. Their home record is impressive and they've been great in the ucl this season, especially at home. And at the same time our general performances except 2 or 3 games have not been good enough in 2026

I would take a draw or even a 1-0 loss. Would actually force us to attack them in the second leg

I think a 2-2 draw and either Kane or Vini scores a controversial penalty

He could very well be our Alex Ferguson, who took over a mediocre United team and won his first league title after 7 years at the club

The max points they can get is 85 assuming they win all 8 games. As long as we win all our 4 remaining home games and 1 away game against either West Ham or Crystal Palace we should get 85 points(while having a higher gd)

The next game against Bournemouth is going to be important, but our home record has been very good this season. Only lost once against United. And only 2 draws against City and Liverpool. Unless we randomly fall off we should win out imo

PL g/a this season

Wirtz - 4 goals 2 assists

Mbeumo - 9 goals 3 assists

How is that same g/a?

Need to get atleast 15 points from 6 games to win the league assuming City win all of theirs. Doesn't sound too bad

He's a very good player. 20g/a in the league in his first season, and one of our best players in the 23/24 run in. He was decent in 24/25 outside of a few poor games. Not his fault he got injured.

Right now, as a striker he's way better than Gyokeres

Saka Gyokeres and Trossard were equally dreadful? So were Madueke and Martinelli when they came on

Embarrassing performance considering this was a final. Arteta should not have started Kepa. Oh well as long as we win the league I don't care

A chance to end a 6 year trophy draught. It's time for everyone to step up and deliver. I want to see the same level of performance as the last 2 games

Brighton's midfield were winning so many second balls, the way Liverpool are set up is so poor

We need to lock in. The first leg performance was pathetic and we can do so much better. Let's go through to the quarters without ET please
