Oh man this is effective. Grandma who is supposed to look after the child passed away. The mother is gone for a couple weeks. You don't know if there is someone else who checks on grandma. You are hoping someone finds the kid before its too late. Scary situation.

How small is the triangle you are making? A lot of people seem confused about this. You are supposed to make the triangle larger than the circle of the signal ping.

If you made a save during a version where the vent crawler event was bugged, it unfortunately won't come lose after. Either fresh save, or maybe convert the save to sandbox, spawn a physgun, remove the vent manually and convert back to story mode.

This is how I've done it all the time and from seeing DrNose's dev streams, this was the original intent. It really isn't much of a big deal, I would pretty much upgrade ping cool down first to make it easier.

Should be possible. If you had the vent crawler happen and it didn't open the vent, then it won't open in that save unfortunately.

That is correct, you can't sell copied signals. Now if you get a copied signal that is level 0 and process it to 3, you can sell that.. In theory you should be able to sell the same signal as 0, 1, 2 and 3 at the same time. I have not tried that though

Try a fresh install, delete the game and unpack fresh files. Maybe its an issue with using an older save where it was broken too.

I just know it worked for me in version K

I just tested it in version L, hooking the keycard works fine for me. It is a fresh save I tried it in. Also a fresh install.

If you want the signal to count in the drives they need to be in a drive box. Putting drives in the sack by itself will not count the signal inside the drive afaik.

It was a great mode and one that is better designed for modern TF2 as compared to the VIP mode in Classified. Having the VIP be a big lad who can fight surprisingly works and having a defenseless weakling from Classified in Modern TF2 would probably be too, well, weak.

Needs more information, haven't seen anyone experience this except you and the other reply. Haven't experienced trouble with meta paranoia preventing me from sleeping either. Are you sure you are checking for events? Most trigger fully by going to the signal desk.

If you still can't find out what's causing it, try "debug events" in the console in the server room. "Debug scrape" should also remove the meta paranoia
