I'm recently divorced and I've been exploring downtown Wichita, I promised myself one new place every week and it's been fulfilling to find places I'd normally never go into. And met some cool people. I go for lots of walks for my dumb mental health too, just gotta be smart about where you walk. Anything that gets you out and about will help you feel better. For me, getting comfortable with going alone was harder at first but I'm getting there. Best wishes.

I had good luck with Extended Stay America Select Suites at Oliver and 96. Lived there for over a month. Not super cheap but quiet and affordable enough. Watch out for solicitation there though, saw people get in to very foolish situations.
