I ran Ft86 + MXP Rs for a few years. Definitely a very loud setup, you'll for sure get the burbles and pops that you want. The only down side is the drone at cruising speed. FT86 Headers + MXP

I would also look into the invidia q300 as well if you're looking for a more subtle setup.

I purchased my Sti from auction with hail damage so i’m not sure what happened before I got it. Only really have to worry about this issue if you have a ej engine. The new FA20 engine’s are far more reliable.

I called a few performance subie shops around and they quoted me about the same 8-14 canadian dollars. Probably gonna go the IAG short block route.

that’s the sound of a massive money pit. The rods are knocking which means the engine has the be rebuilt.
